Now, for a more constructive post.
Years ago, TSR put out a two-part adventure based on Through the Looking Glass. I like it so much that I was inspired to do a Wizard of Oz adventure. I can think of lots of cool scenarios including the zombie Dorothy, Lion, Tinman and Scarecrow. However, I think I lack imagination to communicate them in a less than blue fashion. I’ll do my best:
The room is dark, and you’re not entirely certain that you are indoors. The stones on the ground appear golden and of to one side you hear the snarling of a great cat and a girl sobbing in pain. As you move to investigate, you see a lion mauling a young girl. As you move to help the girl, you become aware that the lion isn’t exactly mauling her, and she isn’t exactly resisting… and neither is exactly alive…
As combat begins, a tin golem armed with an axe and a scarecrow armed with a scythe join from the darkness. (I would use the scarecrow from the base set rather than the one form the Nightmares set)
