So my party is going to go hunt down a Frost worm as part of a barbarian right called "the right of the beast" to earn honor and fame. Their supposed to go kill the creature and bring back its head as proof, they've been amped up and so have I but I kind of forget that frost worms explode on death, so how should I fix this. They don't know for sure it's a frost worm but it's what they assume, but placing in another creature is an option, or is there any good way "stop" it's death throw fro happening. Any ideas or tips are appreciated.

So one of my players contracted lycanthropy from a werebear and that werebear is part of a group who polices other lycanthropes trying to prevent evil ones from murdering innocents. They live up on the border of the land of the linnorm kings and varisia where it said lycans are more socially tolerated. What I'm wondering is are their any gods or emperor an lords or good such entities in Golstion that good or neutral lycans venerate specifically. I know werewolves worship Jezelda but didn't know if they had a good equivalent.

So one of my players has been multiclassing armor master fighter and warpriest, and he's been SUCKING at his intended role as tank. So after talking about it we're switching him to full warpriest and I'm wondering for any tips to make him a decent tank as a warpriest. His characters gosl in mind is mithril full plate and tower shield and being the guy who holds up the front line of enemies while all his allies attack from behind.

So I'm looking for ways for him to take hits meant for allies or force enemies to target him, or keep moving to block paths. Are there any good archetypes for this I warpriest that don't get rid of channeling? I have never built or ran a warpriest or a big tanky character like this so I'm clueless on how to help him. Only thing I've see is the antagonize feat which seems lackluster

so im designing an encounter for my party that will be the cap to a mission they are currently on for the town they live in. They where initially told that their had been sightings of a forest drake in an area near a trade route and were asked to kill it before it started attacking caravans. They get their and fin out its a very young green dragon. It parleyed with them and explained it didn't want to fight anyone and that it just wanted help protecting he remains of its mother. Plot reasons that don't need to be explained its mom was an ancient wyrm who was killed by a big bad they will fight later in the campaign. Well a cult of Urgathoa has found the mothers tomb and is attempting to conduct a ritual which will raise the dragons body as a zombie. both the mother and the child are LN and worshipers of Irori so the party has agreed to help.

Now here's the deal i want it to be an epic fight with a necromancy based Occultist with a bunch of mutated trobblin minions. I intend for him to be the apprentice of the main necromancer conducting the ritual and the party is going to interupt the preparations while the Head necromancer is away. I HAVE NO IDEA how to build a good occultist to begin with let alone for this situation, i just really like the idea and ascetic behind them, and i also don't know what kind of necromancery class would work well as a master for an occultist.

So how would you build this encounter or at least what are some suggestions that could help me build it. The party is 6 level 4 pcs with a very young green dragon ally.

Im running a game at the northern tip of Varisia at he base of the Kodar mountains on the borders of Irrisen and the land of the Linnorm kings. I intend to have an organization of lycans who basically patrol and police one another. Since lycans are generaly accepted in this area as long as they arent rampaging. So the groups goals are to manage the lycans and keep any random were from murdering a town and getting local armies or adventurers out Hunting and moonblood. So with this in mind im trying to think up fun different flavors of lycan to use. Like Were-Weasel or Were-Mammoth. any ideas for a cool breed of lycan. doesn't have to be local as i plan on having a few rare members have traveled here rom far away. Like a were-jackal from Khatapesh.

So I'm making a bow for the Party to find. It's a parasitic magic item that to use its affects you take damage and it makes arrows. So for 1d4 damage it makes 10 +1 arrows. You can also make +1 bane arrows by dipping arrows in the blood of a dead creature and for the rest of the day the arrows the bow creates are bane that creature. I'm also wanting to make the bows most powerful ability to be allowing it to make an arrow of slaying and I'm think about making it cost like 25-50% of the users hp to make. Any ideas or suggestions

Wondering if anyone could take the time to help me wit a project. Im running a homebrew game with several players half of whom have played alot o the APs and the other half who have never played in golarion. I want to have had some of the adventure paths to have happened but i don't know which all ones to make cannon in my world state. What i was hoping someone could help me with is if anyone could summarize all the APs, and what happens in them, and the repercussions that adventure path would have on the world. Like i know if Path of fire is complete, either their is a new city in khatapesh or a great spawn of Rovagug is rampaging in that part of the world. im just wating to know a summary o the aps and their possible outcomes

So you could use Beguiling gift to give someone poisen and make them drink it, or the sleeping beauty apple but what about acid or alchemists fire, would that just do its normal damage or it being taken internally would it do more i intend to use this tactic with a witch in an upcoming play of serpant skull. She'll hand people a flask of acid and say its a healing potion or something like such

Well the dinner did not go as well as i hoped. There were several others who Janiven invited to join us. A very rag tag group of misfits, but a seemingly pleasant enough group. Well except for that one chick had a good bit of infernal blood in her, and a chip on her shoulder the size of the Star Stone. I can't really blame her i mean tieflings do get a bad rep around here, which is really a tragedy because the racism and stereotyping of them as nothing but shameless thieves is actually causing them to actually have to resort to it to survive. The one man i wasn't able to garner much about with how quite he was. All i managed to deduce was the he seemed to be some sort of marksman, maybe a hunter whether of beast or man i know not. The last one was a cleric of Pharasma a rather devoted man. I tried to be polite and not stare at his hands but by Desna were they horrendous. I feel sorry for him what possible accident he could have been in to cause such damage is a mystery id rather not learn. I hope that he finds solace for his pain in his mistress.

Funnily enough these characters weren't the strangest thing i encountered. Janiven treated us to a nice dinner, the meat was a bit to spiced for my taste but over all no real complaints. It was after we were done eating that the serious business began. She locked the door and it was at that point i got a bit nervous, I had not signed up for something illegal. She went on a long speech continuously mentioning how what they were doing was not some kind of "Rebellion". I had my doubts, i mean don't get me wrong i truly want to help this city but with an Asmodean society like this the law was strictly enforced and while my mistress encourages seeing new places a dungeon is not one i hope to have the pleasure of experiencing. Back on track though i was seriously beginning to doubt that this would turn out to be anything more than a empty lead. I mean what are the chances that on my first week back id find a way to stop this curse that's lasted for almost the entire rule of the house of Thrune, but still i must have hope so i decided to stay and at least give this "leader' Arael she kept mentioning to show up. I mean what really worried me was that whenever we asked what her plan was to improve the city she kept stalling saying that Arael would explain i didn't know if she was just purely ignorant or if there was some ulterior motive to her trappings.

It didn't take much longer for us to get our answer although it was not what I wanted it was exactly what i expected would happen. A young boy I cannot remember his name for the rush of the escape but he came pounding on the door begging to be let in. He informed us that Arael had been captured by HellKnights, the poor boy thinking he had escaped ran back to inform Janiven. Unfortunately the Hellknights had let him go so that they could follow him back. The boy was the only one who didn't see through the Hellknights ploy, truthfully i actually felt bad for him the poor boy was only trying to help. I am not afrad to say at this point i was quite worried, but luckily in what i consider to be the first smart thing this Janiven woman had done all she showed us she had a secret exit into the sewers. She explained that if we followed the yellow arrows on the walls we could reach there hideout. This would have been much easier to follow if the cleric, who turned out to be an Aasimar (( i guess i was to distracted by his disgusting hands to notice)), and the Tiefling woman hadn't insisted on going about the whole ordeal in the dark. I mean i may have an elves eye site but still i cant see in the dark like those to could. The dark wasn't the only problem though half the damn markers were faded, and she also never mentioned the damnable undead. Which i might add wouldn't have been able to sneak up on us if we had lit a torch. We also managed to wonder in circles so much we ran into a patrol of Armigers, which we made short work of. I'd also like to state that i will never again trounce around in the sewers.

When we finally got out of the sewers we came out right in front of what seemed to be a old shrine to Aroden. It was tragic to see the shape it was in on the outside, but once we entered it was nice to see that they had at least restored it abit. Janiven congratulated us on our escape, which i must say was slightly insulting considering she was the reason i had just spent several hours running around in sewage. She started to explain some plan to break Arael out of custody when i had finally had enough. I voiced my complaints with abit more anger than i had intended, but she responded courteously and finally explained there general plan. It was enough to satisfy my misgivings for the moment, and with that settled we began planning how to free this Arael man. We shall go tommorow to save the man, but for now i must pay homage to my lady so i am off to bed.
