Female Human Priestess

Thanks for running. It seems a lot more complicated than earlier versions of Runequest, which I agree while they might flow smoothly in Tabletop, kind of kept things more complicated for PbP. Sorry Kara wasn't engaged more, but as I mentioned while the story and GMing were great, the rules kind of kept me disengaged.

Female Human Priestess

I'm at the home office for training this week, so not sure what my posting schedule will be... so if necessary feel free to bot.

Female Human Priestess

"I don't think I can move another step. If we're going on someone will have to carry me".

I'm assuming a 100 on my last endurance roll is this bad?

Female Human Priestess

1d100 ⇒ 67 Athletics (53%)

1d100 ⇒ 100 Endurance (22%)

Kara's fatigue causes her to constantly stumble and fall until she finally refuses to get up after one particularly nasty fall.

"Go on without me! I simply can't move another foot".

Female Human Priestess

Remember you still have the backlash spell active.

Kara smiles back at Zamothis as he jogs past.

Female Human Priestess

Still here. Kara is not a fighter, and is waiting for something in the battle to develop that requires her intervention.

Female Human Priestess

Let them hit you. Zamothis should still have the backlash spell on him. Maybe that will dishearten them.

Female Human Priestess

Don't have my book with me. Is there some way to assist another in combat, without actually attacking. Kara would attempt to help defend her sister, or help her attack. She wants to be close enough to provide healing or negotiation if needed, but not put herself in immediate peril.

Kara follows the others into the melee, hoping to supply support as needed, realizing that she is no warrior, and will only fight if it's unavoidable.

Female Human Priestess

Kara being non-combatant tries to stay out of the way and offer what magical or healing aid she can without entering hand-to-hand combat. The only exception is if her sister is endangered.

Female Human Priestess

Just a question. Would they be better to not parry, as the "Backlash" spell should hurt the person hitting them... Is this correct?

Kara will use a Luck point to re-roll her miracle spell roll.

1d100 ⇒ 21

Female Human Priestess

"I'll try... though I don't know how effective it will be".

Kara tries to "Dismiss Magic" on the statue.

1d100 ⇒ 79 Dismiss Magic Miricle

I believe this might be my last DP so fingers crossed.

Female Human Priestess

Time for a Backlash spell for sisterm

1d100 ⇒ 1

Female Human Priestess

"Perhaps it is time that your travesties are to come to an end. Removing the curse does not change the fact that you can simply curse another. This ends... here... today".

"Come gather around for Myceras blessing before we end this vile cult".

Cast Steadfast on the group. 1d100 ⇒ 29

If time, casts Backlash on Zamothis 1d100 ⇒ 54

Female Human Priestess

Sorry. Not much time to post lately, and am a bit confused about the layout. Kara would have followed her sister, so I'm assuming she needs the same rolls. Also, don't have my book with me (I know unprepared), so am not sure of the spell descriptions.

1d100 ⇒ 27 Willpower (58)

Will cast Steadfast if it keeps everyone functioning, or dismiss magic if it helps interrupt the ceremony.

1d100 ⇒ 8 Miracle

Female Human Priestess

Kara merely nods with a look of grim resolve. "Lets go then. I'm not getting any younger".

Female Human Priestess

Kara smiles at Anathaym's efforts. "I've never know her to have such patience. Thinking I was injured must have really shaken her.

"Why did your people attack us Urm"? Kara tries to pantomime out.

1d100 ⇒ 94 Influence

Wow! He'll probably jump up and try to bite her face off.

Female Human Priestess

I'll update this evening (US Eastern time). I'm travelling with a supervisor this week, so posting might be spotty. Please feel free to BOT my character if necessary to move the plot along.

Female Human Priestess

Kara rises to her feet, surprised she is still whole.

"Somebody help me incapacitate this guy, so I can try to help him".

First she will use the influence skill to try and convince the native that she means no harm, and wants to help with the spear.

1d100 ⇒ 35 Influence: (65)

Then she will attempt to use first aid to help with his wound.

1d100 ⇒ 84 First Aid (58)... Sigh. Too bad we're not playing Rolemaster.

Female Human Priestess

Kara will spend a luck point for thr GM to re-roll-

Female Human Priestess

Kara moves closer last round, then this round tries the spell again.

1d100 ⇒ 62 Exhort (60%)

Wow! Really! Missed by "2" twice this combat. Kara's god must be slightly peeved at her :-)

Female Human Priestess

Kara seeing that there will be no peaceful end to this conflict, decides to make attacking her dangerous, and prepares to rush to aid any injured.

Cast "Backlash"

1d100 ⇒ 80 Devotion? (68)

And wonders why the Gods have forsaken her.

Too bad we're not playing Rolemaster. All these high rolls would be good :-)

Female Human Priestess

1d10 + 16 ⇒ (10) + 16 = 26 SR Sorry... don't know what the minuses above in everyone's SR mean. I've got to spend some time with the rules this weekend.

"Everyone wait. Please we are not your enemies".

1d100 ⇒ 67 Influence (65)

Kara does stand and subtly puts her hands on her Staff.

Female Human Priestess

I'm still hear and playing, but left for a business trip without my book or character sheet. I'll just roll the dice, but not sure of Kara's scores. I'll be back on Friday... and promise to be a more efficient player.

1d100 ⇒ 46 Endurance
1d100 ⇒ 94 Survival
1d100 ⇒ 27 Perception

Female Human Priestess

Kara will step up to the wounded sailor. "Here. Let me see that you stubborn fool. It will be infected if I don't tend to it.

First Aid: 1d100 ⇒ 59 (58%)

Dang this humidity. The stitches aren't holding".

Be brave, I must call upon the mercy of Myceras to pull you through now.

Folk Magic Heal1d100 ⇒ 84 (55%)

Hmm. Seems your brash acts aren't drawing the favor of the gods as well. Perhaps we shall have to try tomorrow to see if you have increased your standing in there eyes. If I were you I'd pray... hard.

Female Human Priestess

I believe I put it in the text "Calm". I'll try to make it more evident in the future.

Female Human Priestess

I haven't had time to review the magic rules yet, but I think this is the time to cast a calm spell on the leader. I know I roll the Folk Magic attempt, but am not sure what applies after that.

"Here my good man. We are strong, and united we can overcome any that oppose us. The guidance of Myceras follows us, and it is not yet out time to die".

1d100 ⇒ 39 Folk Magic (55%)

Female Human Priestess

Sorry I missed this starting. Maybe I can ret con a bit.

Seeing her friend struggle, Kara jumps into the dance trying to make something of nothing.

1d100 ⇒ 27 Dance (75%)
