Those are good ideas, Lathiira. I'll put together a scene with the Fearsome's Tide's return. I'm stymied at the moment. Just anxious about screwing up the beginning of the relaunch, which I acknowledge as foolish. I'll figure it out.

Honestly, I don't care that much about limiting sources unless you two want to stick with that. Tidal hunter is from Ultimate Wilderness, but it isn't likely to break the game.

I'd say play what you want and I'll try to make it fun to play.

Also, I'm happy to take a look at build specifics. I'm imagining getting fired back up in two weeks if that works for you guys. If you need a longer break, maybe the beginning of March would be good.

So I think to continue I would need to re-read the part of the campaign from before I joined. And I would need to review the future materials.

And we would want to recruit a couple more players, I think, though perhaps by invitation rather than an open recruitment.

Happy New Year! As evidenced by the fact I am sitting alone on my sofa watching the new Matrix movie and posting in a PbP game 14 minutes before the new year, things aren't going great for me. But new beginnings are always a chance, right?

Kahuranga finds a pedestal that is holding a vase, and with that and a pillow borrowed from his bed manages a comfortable perch for Taniwha to join the dinner without sitting in a chair below the level of the table.

Knowing that not everyone enjoys dining with a miniature dragon ripping food from the bone, Kahuranga shreds some chicken before placing it before his partner like offerings before a diminished god.

Kahuranga almost completely ignores the crew, seemingly obsessed with whatever he is contemplating. When Thren says to get moving, he seems almost perturbed, certainly distracted, but he makes himself presentable.

The winds that always stir his hair and clothing are especially vigorous.

Kahuranga stays in sick bay, discomforted by the close walls. His is noticeably dour and deep in his head, slow to respond to inquiries or conversation.

Clearly this brush with death has shaken him.

Nothing else that I need to accomplish.

I was thinking I had to make the save and take the damage at the beginning of my turn, which would keep me from drinking it since the damage took me to 0.

As long as they wait until the poison runs its course and then do the lesser restoration that should give me enough strength to move.

Kahuranga reaches to take the vial of antitoxin, but convulses as the poison takes the last of his strength. The magic that keeps him afloat continues for a short while longer before he floats to the ground.

Unless this poison is especially deadly, usually when all of your strength is gone you are paralyzed. The flight works in increments of 10 rounds. When it wears off he feather falls to the ground for one round, enough to bring him safely to the floor.

Taniwha takes the vial and downs its contents, his draconic face twisting at the bitter taste.

Kahuranga stumbles, if someone who is magically flying can stumble, into the wall, then overcorrects and bounces back down the hall. He comes to the edge of the mist and sees the guard.

"Invisible flying alchemists may be my weakness...but I believe you will find...that thuggish guards are my specialty..."

As he speaks, he draws a tiny iron bar from the pouch at his belt, running his thumb along it and intoning Auran words for the stillness of the wind.

Move action to fly 35 feet toward pirate guard. Standard to cast Hold Person.

Kahuranga motions the dinosaur to turn about and attack whatever is coming at them. The sylph takes a deep breath and turns to his friend. Despite the fog, he was connected to the dragon when it fell, and so has a good idea where Taniwha is. He flicks the wand and a glow of life spreads over charred body of the dragon.

Should still have the wand of cure moderate in hand.

Cure Moderate Wounds: 2d8 + 5 ⇒ (4, 3) + 5 = 12

Kahuranga beams as his friend's eyes flutter open. "No more running off like that, little hero..."

The dinosaur turns on its heel and races toward the approaching threat.

I'm assuming here that I can hear the guy running toward us. I know that both of my allies are flying. Sadly, the dino can't charge/pounce out of the fog because it doesn't have line of sight to the guy. That would have been cool.

This is what happens when an air witch and a water dragon descend into holes in the ground. Besmara give me strength, and if that doesn't work out, Calistria keep me alive long enough to avenge myself and my friend on this woman.

Kahuranga focuses on the area of the attack and launches an opalescent ray into it.

He can only do this from within 5 feet, so he will move if she has moved. Casting the spell does not provoke, but the ranged attack does.

Yep, I was just wanting to be sure where everyone is. Kahuranga should still have 100 feet of fly speed. He will move that far down the corridor, which gets him to 70 feet past the gate.

Taniwha scrunches his eye ridges in pain and concentration. She is right, I can't run fast enough. I'll have to try to hide.

He calls upon the magic in his draconic blood to condense moisture in the air of the underground tunnel. Then he finds the best place he can to hide within the cloud.

Standard action to cast obscuring mist centered on himself. 40 feet worth of mist fills the air.

Stealth: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19 Well, that is probably a dead dragon.
