Background:
Following in the tradition of his family, Jovan and his brothers trained to serve in the merchant guard. Upon impressing a Pathfinder on a mission, Jovan and his brothers were offered field commissions in the Society, which his eldest brother, Dovan, accepted. Jovan, however, initially declined.

Months later, Jovan lost contact with his brother. Soon thereafter, rumors of Dovan's death in distant Absalom began to surface. It was then that Jovan sought out the Pathfinder and was able to gain a commission into the Society.

The identity of his brother's murderer is unknown and city politics seems to prevent further investigation. Unable to obtain the vengeance he seeks, Jovan has channeled his anger into his work. Though a competent Pathfinder, he presently remains dedicated to his merchant patrons in Qadira.

Reactionary: Jovan gains a +2 trait bonus to Initiative.

World Traveler: Jovan gains a +1 trait bonus on checks with the Knowledge (local) skill, and it is always a class skill for him.

Power Attack Jovan can choose to take a –2 penalty on all melee attack rolls and combat maneuver checks to gain a +4 bonus on all melee damage rolls. This bonus to damage is increased by half (+50%) if he is making an attack with a two-handed weapon, a one handed weapon using two hands, or a primary natural weapon that adds 1-1/2 times his Strength modifier on damage rolls. This bonus to damage is halved (–50%) if he is making an attack with an off-hand weapon or secondary natural weapon. When your base attack bonus reaches +8, and every 4 points thereafter, the penalty increases by –1 and the bonus to damage increases by +2. Jovan must choose to use this feat before making an attack roll, and its effects last until his next turn. The bonus damage does not apply to touch attacks or effects that do not deal hit point damage.

Cleave: As a standard action, Jovan can make a single attack at his full base attack bonus against a foe within reach. If he hits, Jovan deals damage normally and can make an additional attack (using his full base attack bonus) against a foe that is adjacent to the first and also within reach. He can only make one additional attack per round with this feat. When Jovan uses this feat, he takes a –2 penalty to his Armor Class until his next turn.

Improved Sunder: Jovan does not provoke an attack of opportunity when performing a sunder combat maneuver. In addition, he receives a +2 bonus on checks made to sunder an item. He also receives a +2 bonus to his Combat Maneuver Defense whenever an opponent tries to sunder his gear.

Furious Focus: When he is wielding a two-handed weapon or a one-handed weapon with two hands, and using the Power Attack feat, Jovan does not suffer Power Attack’s penalty on melee attack rolls on the first attack he makes each turn. He stills suffer the penalty on any additional attacks, including attacks of opportunity.

Weapon Expertise (great axe): Jovan can choose to take a –1 penalty on melee attack rolls and combat maneuver checks to gain a +1 dodge bonus to his Armor Class. When his base attack bonus reaches +4, and every +4 thereafter, the penalty increases by –1 and the dodge bonus increases by +1. Jovan can only choose to use this feat when he declares that he is making an attack or a full-attack action with a melee weapon. The effects of this feat last until his next turn.

Great Cleave: As a standard action, Jovan can make a single attack at his full base attack bonus against a foe within reach. If he hits, Jovan deals damage normally and can make an additional attack (using his full base attack bonus) against a foe that is adjacent to the previous foe and also within reach. If he hits, Jovan can continue to make attacks against foes adjacent to the previous foe, so long as they are within his reach. He cannot attack an individual foe more than once during this attack action. When he uses this feat, Jovan takes a –2 penalty to his Armor Class until his next turn.

Shattering Strike: At 2nd level, as two-handed fighter, Jovan gained a +1 bonus to CMB and CMD on sunder attempts and on damage rolls made against objects. These bonuses increase by +1 for every four levels beyond 2nd.

Overhand Chop: At 3rd level, as a two-handed fighter, when Jovan makes a single attack (with the attack action or a charge) with a two-handed weapon, he adds double his Strength bonus on damage rolls.

Weapon Training: As the fighter class feature, but the bonuses only apply to Jovan when he is wielding two-handed melee weapons.

Weapon Focus: Jovan has extensive training in fighting with a longsword, granting him a +1 bonus on all attack rolls made with this weapon. This bonus has already been added to his stats.

Armor Check: Jovan’s armor weighs him down when he attempts physical tasks. He takes a –6 penalty on skill checks with Dexterity- and Strength-based skills. This penalty is already included for the skills listed in his stat block.
