Traits
A Sure Thing: Once per day, you gain a +2 bonus on a single attack roll against an evil-aligned creature. If the creature is not evil-aligned, this ability is wasted with no benefit.
Magical Knack (Wizard): Pick a class when you gain this trait—your caster level in that class gains a +2 trait bonus as long as this bonus doesn’t increase your caster level higher than your current Hit Dice.

Equipment:

Combat Gear studded leather armour, composite longbow (+1 Str) and 13 arrows, 10 cold iron arrows, 10 alchemical silver arrows, 5 durable arrows, halberd, morningstar, dagger, spell component pouch, alchemist's fire, holy water, liquid ice; Other Gear Backpack, explorer's outfit, spellbook, bedroll, 5 days' trail rations, flint and steel, hooded lantern and 2 pints oil, whetstone, sewing needle, scroll case, potion vial, 1 oz. ink and pen, signet ring, wooden holy symbol of Calistria, 3 candles, 3 sheets parchment, waterskin, 224 gp, 4 sp, 5 cp

SPECIAL ABILITIES

Crowd control (Ex):
At 1st level, an urban barbarian gains a +1 bonus on attack rolls and a +1 dodge bonus to AC when adjacent to two or more enemies. In addition, her movement is not impeded by crowds, and she gains a bonus equal to 1/2 her barbarian level on Intimidate checks to influence crowds (Core Rulebook 436). This ability replaces fast movement.

Controlled rage (Ex), 5 rounds/day:
When an urban barbarian rages, instead of making a normal rage she may apply a +4 morale bonus to her Strength, Dexterity, or Constitution. She may apply the full bonus to one ability score or may split the bonus between several scores in increments of +2. When using a controlled rage, an urban barbarian gains no bonus on Will saves, takes no penalties to AC, and can still use Intelligence-, Dexterity-, and Charisma-based skills. This ability otherwise follows the normal rules for rage.

Character description:

Tasarë Solaera – Willow, to those who lack Elven – is pretty much what one might well expect a young, reasonably talented elf to be: an enthusiastic student of the arcane, eager to follow her people’s traditions of magic. It’s a bit strange, then, that the shy young thing is pursuing her studies alone, with correspondingly slower progress, while living among Pathfinders. She readily admits that she has yet to grasp the basics, even of the school of magic to which she is most drawn, transmutation. Nonetheless, her experiments so far have given her the ability to become aware of, loop back, and heighten her body’s capacities, however fleetingly, to preternatural levels, and she continues as best she can.

She is tensely polite if pressed as to why she pursues such an unusual course of study; it’s an open secret among other new recruits to the Society that Willow has had to sacrifice most of her worldly possessions to heal a mysterious, perhaps magical, ailment, but there are also more hushed rumours that she had to leave Kyonin after some scandal of violence. Most often the tall young woman can stare down such stories, or cut them short by acute exercise of her bitter tongue, but more than once she has found herself needing to retreat before a curled fist got the better of her self-control.

Fortunately, Willow pursues a variety of loosely meditative practices that help her reduce stress and are related to her studies, in addition to traditional exercises in elven sword-work and archery: she dabbles in botany, collecting careful notes on interesting plants and committing them, along with any number of other arcane exercises, to memory in long strings of Elven and Sylvan verse. This does not, of course, make her seem any less eccentric, though her ability to quickly and discreetly provide carefully measured simples to those in need helps to ease some doubts. Whatever lies behind Willow’s obsession with change, her tact and generous care suggest that her heart is largely in the right place.
