Johan or Scarecrow, as he is mainly known to his comrades in arms, is a tall gangly dark-haired man of German heritage. He is insufferably arrogant yet patient, able to stand still for hours, unmoving, which lent him his callsign. He specializes in waiting, knowing the right moment will eventually come along. He comes from old money, which has not helped his already considerable ego, and is prone to outbursts that border on bigotry.
