Feats:
Feats Combat Reflexes (Combat)
You can make additional attacks of opportunity.
Benefit: You may make a number of additional attacks of opportunity per round equal to your Dexterity bonus. With this feat, you may also make attacks of opportunity while flat-footed.
Normal: A character without this feat can make only one attack of opportunity per round and can't make attacks of opportunity while flat-footed.
Special: The Combat Reflexes feat does not allow a rogue to use her opportunist ability more than once per round.
Improved Initiative (Combat)(Bonus feat)
Your quick reflexes allow you to react rapidly to danger.
Benefit: You get a +4 bonus on initiative checks.
Traits:
Traits Hidden Hand: Your concealed weapons strike fast and true.
Benefits: You gain a +1 trait bonus on Sleight of Hand checks made to conceal light weapons and a +1 trait bonus on attack rolls when making an attack with a light weapon during a surprise round.
Veiled Disciple: Trained in espionage, you're skilled at passing messages and staying on task.
Benefits: You gain a +1 trait bonus on Bluff checks made to pass secret messages and a +1 trait bonus on saving throws against charm and compulsion effects.
Heart of the Streets:
Heart of the Streets: Humans from bustling cities are skilled with crowds. They gain a +1 racial bonus on Reflex saves and a +1 dodge bonus to Armor Class when adjacent to at least two other allies. Crowds do not count as difficult terrain for them. This racial trait replaces skilled.
Sneak Attack:
Sneak Attack
If a rogue can catch an opponent when he is unable to defend himself effectively from her attack, she can strike a vital spot for extra damage.
The rogue's attack deals extra damage anytime her target would be denied a Dexterity bonus to AC (whether the target actually has a Dexterity bonus or not), or when the rogue flanks her target. This extra damage is 1d6 at 1st level, and increases by 1d6 every two rogue levels thereafter. Should the rogue score a critical hit with a sneak attack, this extra damage is not multiplied. Ranged attacks can count as sneak attacks only if the target is within 30 feet.
With a weapon that deals nonlethal damage (like a sap, whip, or an unarmed strike), a rogue can make a sneak attack that deals nonlethal damage instead of lethal damage. She cannot use a weapon that deals lethal damage to deal nonlethal damage in a sneak attack, not even with the usual –4 penalty.
The rogue must be able to see the target well enough to pick out a vital spot and must be able to reach such a spot. A rogue cannot sneak attack while striking a creature with concealment.
Spy:
Spy
The best spies are like chameleons, but not only can they change their appearances to fit the situation, they can also change their personalities, allegiances, and even loves if that’s what it takes to achieve their clandestine goals. Spies are the ultimate manipulators, and even those who commission their services sometimes find that they’ve merely served the spies’ own interests.
Skilled Liar (Ex)
Whenever a spy uses Bluff to attempt to deceive someone, she gains a bonus on the opposed roll equal to 1/2 her rogue level (minimum +1). This bonus does not apply to feint attempts or attempts to pass secret messages. This ability replaces trapfinding.
Poison Use (Ex)
A 3rd level, a spy is trained in the use of poison and cannot accidentally poison herself when applying poison to a blade.
This ability replaces trap sense.
Rogue Talents: The following rogue talents complement the spy archetype: canny observer, guileful polyglot, honeyed words, major magic*, minor magic*, and quick disguise.
Advanced Talents: The following advanced rogue talents complement the spy archetype: crippling strike*, master of disguise, and stealthy sniper.
Description and Background
With long, straight, brown hair, golden-brown eyes and caramel-coloured skin, Jessalyn is exotically pretty. She stands at 5'9" and is 125 lbs of toned muscle and just the right amount of curves. She is the only daughter of Oscar and Marisol Velos (the local art gallery owners) and has four older brothers: Christian, Sebastian, Felix and Diego, who are all serving their country in the United States Armed Forces.
Jessalyn always had a knack for keeping secrets and observing the finer details others often missed. Her flair for languages, graceful movement, ability to keep her cool and act as a chameleon in any situation presented her with an advantage, especially when she applied for the National Clandestine Service Undergraduate Internship Program with the C.I.A in her senior year of high school. It was no surprise to her family, teachers and friends that she was accepted into the program before she graduated.
Her best friends in high school were Miya Casten and Lucian Harrow. After Jessalyn graduated, she started her internship and then barely had time to see her friends, except for Christmas and New Year get-togethers. She missed them but there was much study and confidential, on-the-job training. It was fortunate that her friends were understanding and supportive and never asked her too many questions about what she was doing in the C.I.A.
Personality/Character:
Jessalyn can hold her own -- Growing up with four rough and tumble big brothers meant she could protect herself from a young age (even though they would have killed anyone who tried to harm her).
She is confident, witty and sassy. She can laugh readily/easily. Boys have always been attracted to her (even with her 4 bodyguard siblings) and she is comfortable/self-assured around males. Jessalyn is driven; a self-motivator. She works hard and plays hard. Other females can find her intimidating at times, but those who know her and call her friend will say she is loyal, trustworthy and caring.
Jessalyn has always been inquisitive and someone who seeks answers. She knows more about a situation than an ordinary person. She will do what she must in order to solve a problem. She doesn't shy away from the harder solutions.
