Hi everyone. My work STILL hasn't hired a replacement to take some of my workload. Hopefully they will start the first of January. I'm alive and kicking just slow at posts.

"I'm fine with giving her a share of any rewards we earn. What about the rest of you?"

"Maffei. Do you have any way we can sneak out of the area with out being seen? The dragon says his minions are watching us all."

Jayla hands the sword over to Edo. "Use this well. Can anyone restore damage?"

Jayla follows along. "Liam what in the world are we going to do with a shirt with no hand holds?"

She takes the sword holding on to it unless Edo wishes to use it at Dragonfen. "If you change your mind Edo. I'll be happy to let you have it."

Uhe I understand totally. I have about at least four different game systems running around in my head.

So Jayla can use the Greatsword though not well. Can anyone else make use of it? If it had been the rapier of flame or something that would have been better. She's a finesse fighter.

I'd like to purchase a Cloak of Resistance +1 with my already earned gold. If we don't have a use for the entire 5K, I'd love to upgrade one of my kukri's to a +1 for 2K of the 5K. I don't want to take more than my share though.

Jayla quietly follows along behind Liam until their business with the Sister is completed. "Liam I never thought you'd be the brave one among us. I'll do what I can to make sure you make it back to your village, and keep it safe. Who knows being a Night of Taldor might be fun." She shrugs.

Jayla sits down on a step and shakes her head. "Dragons?! I didn't sign up for dragons either Liam. What are we going to do? How are we supposed to come up with 2,000 gold per person?" She turns to Baroness Origena. "How large is the community coffer? Can you even begin to pay this to save your town?"

I usually use Roll 20, but Slides and discord would also work.

Jayla curses. "Fire Drake? Uhe are you good?" She asks as she lets loose with another arrow at the enemy.

Jayla curses and runs to the fallen woman, "The auctioneer!" Reveka can she be saved?

Jayla stays in her seat, but is clearly un interested in the proceedings. She did wonder why some musty old books were worth that much gold. "Seems like a lot of gold for something that can't do much for you but sit on a shelf." She mutters to Edo during the most heated moments of the bidding.

Jayla fidgets through the afternoon. She's terribly bored until the things of interest to her companions come up in the auction. "If anyone wants anything in particular, I'm happy to chip in for it. If not I think I'll try my luck with the potions."

Jayla is good for purchases. She doesn't quite have enough for magic items yet.

Jayla spends time helping Maffei become comfortable in the cave, and driving her crazy with questions about her life before becoming a prisoner.

Are we RPing the auction or buying our items in story mode?

"So nice to meet you Maffei. We can get you some comforts in town before taking you to the cave. I'm guess that a dark place is best for you. You don't seem like you'd care for the sunshine much." She gives the creature a friendly greeting.

Jayla sighs. "She can't stand the light. That means she might be from the dark places. That doesn't mean she's evil. We did return a demon baby to its realm, and killed another demon. I say we free her and deal with the consequences. We can't leave her like she is. That would be cruel."

"Someone please throw this on the shining area, and stand back." Then she steps to the side not looking at the light with her kukris drawn. "Just in case. I want her free, but I don't trust."

"Thank you for the healing Reveka. Your help is welcome. We're trying to find what the wizard hid in this cave. Clearly he was doing necromantic things. Not that I know about that stuff." She looks around. [b]"We should probably be moving on.

Jayla still sitting on the floor looks up at the two newcomers. "Hi I'm Jayla. Thank you for helping us. That thing, whatever it was, was certainly getting the better of us. I swear they are going to start saving my place in line at the Boneyard if almost dying keeps happening." She stands up and dusts herself off. "We're looking for super secret magic stuff. What are you two doing out here?"

"Ouch. That hurt you beast." She slashes with her kukri and then tries to crawl away from the creature.

Never heard of Expeditious Construction. That sounds like an amazing way to gain some cover in a hallway.

Jayla nods. "Keep it a secret why we want to find the cave. I understand. How do we get people to talk about the caves without tipping them off? I'd hate to have someone hurt because they wanted to find gold in the hills."

Once she's done eating she goes in search of a Alchemical Silver kukri. "I hope we don't face any more demons, but just in case I'd like an Alchemical Silver weapon. If it's a kukri, even better. I'd also like two vials of Oil of Magic Weapon."
