I'm in agreeance with Asgetrion - it sounds like a great product but it would be nice to know more about it before buying it. S'pose we'll just have to wait for braver souls to give it a go and write reviews...

I think that that's the danger of having monsters from myth and legend in a role-playing game; the cool thing about Medusa in the stories is that she's just one lady who's cursed and becomes monstrous (whether physically or spiritually or whatever). If you have Medusa as a race of creatures it loses its edge. Having a medusa as a one off baddy that the PCs meet on a specific adventure is way cooler, otherwise it's a bit like calling all winged horses Pegasus. Oh, wait a minute...

Brilliant. Thanks for the help :-)

Arg! Sorry about this; we use hexes in our gaming sessions (a throughback to years spent playing "Cry Havoc") and I was wondering if anyone knows if this has just squares or if you can set it to hexes? There, no more questions for now...

Ah, the missing tome - 1st edition was crying out for this book and now here it is...

Hmmm, I think what I'm saying is, what's a good comprehensive selection of these packages to get or is it worth just buying CC3 and then taking it from there?

So, if I buy this do I also need to buy Dungeon Designer, City Designer, etc... or is this an uber-package with everything I need in it? Otherwise I can see me easily spending hundreds of dollars on add-ons an' t'ing.

Shiney! I'm so going to have to buy this and fritter away my hard earned...

Hurumph. September in the America means in the shops October in Blighty! I'll have to dig out that quantum manipulator from wherever I buried it in t'garage...

I downloaded and printed the Alpha version of Pathfinder and after reading it (and being wowed by it), tentatively introduced it to my group (who are resolutely entrenched in their universal determination not to switch to 4.0). They took to it instantly and now every member has their own copy of the softcover of the Beta playtest rules. Unquestionably the most exciting rules since my older brother bought the old blue cover rules in about 1976. Thanks Paizo and I can't wait until August.
