By RAW it says this:

Quote:

Bonus Feats:

At 4th level and every 4 levels thereafter,
a swashbuckler gains a bonus feat in addition to those
gained from normal advancement.

These bonus feats
must be selected from those listed as combat feats.

Swashbuckler levels are considered fighter levels for the
purpose of meeting combat feat prerequisites.

In addition, upon reaching 4th level and every 4
levels thereafter, a swashbuckler can choose to learn a
new bonus feat in place of a bonus feat she has already
learned. In effect, the swashbuckler loses the bonus feat
in exchange for the new one. The old feat cannot be one
that was used as a prerequisite for another feat, prestige
class, or other ability.

A swashbuckler can only change
one feat at any given level, and must choose whether or
not to swap the feat at the time she gains a new bonus
feat for the level.

So does the Swashbuckler levels qualify as Fighter levels for purpose of gaining feats through this Bonus Feats feature only? Or does it affect natural feat progression too?

I need the dev guys to clarify something regarding Master of Many Styles Bonus Feats.

At 1st level, 2nd level, and every four levels thereafter, a master of many styles may select a bonus style feat or the Elemental Fist feat. He does not have to meet the prerequisites of that feat, except the Elemental Fist feat. Alternatively, a master of many styles may choose a feat in that style’s feat path (such as Earth Child Topple) as one of these bonus feats if he already has the appropriate style feat (such as Earth Child Style). The master of many styles does not need to meet any other prerequisite of the feat in the style’s feat path.

This ability replaces a monk’s standard bonus feats.

Does it mean I can go straight from Snake Style (tier 1) to Snake Fang (tier 3) via this bonus feat?

Having quite of bit of tussle over RAW as per quote

"appropriate style feat" as some others in my group regards the (tier 2) as the style feat as well.

Need your take on this one devs. The group won't listen to anything but absolute answer from you guys.

Thanks for the replies. Just want to make it clear because I felt that it was somewhat vague and broken that spells per day arcane casters rest for eight hours and got spells refreshed, and the others abilities per day guys have to make do.

Just want to make it clear. Spellcasters like Wiz or Sor do get "spells per day" but when they rested 8 hours. They regain those spells back (and prepare new ones for Wiz).

So here is the question. Does this 8 hour rest resets those x per day abilities given as class features such as Bardic Performance, Barbarian's Rage, Inquisitor's Judgments, and also Divine Spells ? (IFAIK, clerics, inquisitors do have to pray and receive spells from their respective deities)

Thank you, I will sure to keep that in mind and tell the group, most of them automatically assume 'monster/enemy auto-die' rule after that session.

Story so far: A session, arena-style happened. No killings, which side killed the combatant of other side first loses. Turns out the party is up against a huge monster, arena special ruled that if party survives 15 rounds without getting knocked out of stage area, we win.

Turns out, the monster is wayyyyy much more trouble than expected and I accidentally dealt the killing blow slightly below 0 HP (I think). We tried to save the poor sap, no dice. It is dead.

Now, just for future references if the party are faced with similar situation again. Can enemies, both humanoid and monster if dropped below 0 HP in combat but not their -CON automatically assumed dead? Cannot spare a quarter in combat, but might want to stabilize some poor sap for further 'questioning' later...
