"Who's raising those skeletons?" Irgal seethes. Unfamiliar with the amount of death of his fellow citizens around him, he grows furious. "When I get to the bottom of this, I swear, I will unleash Deadeye's justice upon them!"

Irgal holds onto his belongings and wishes Roldare well. "We'll be back, with Dimira, then we can all get out of here. Thank you for the warning regarding the traps. We'll be careful."

Between Jaer's guile, Harken's back, Ka'narg's expertise, Illya-Nim's will, and Keshy's fervor, you'll find that we've got more strength on our side than one might expect. We may not be the team you sought, but we are the team you'll need. Now, you can join us and let us protect you as we save Dimira, or you can stay here and hide and keep yourself safe, but we are all pulling together, and Erastil has decreed: you will not die today."

"There's got to be more here. A place with pillows and brooms? Something is being hidden on the floor."

Irgal frets, sadness and rage rising within him. With all alacrity, he looks at the skeletons and calls out, "Erastil remove these abominations!"

Packing up his tent, Irgal smiles and adds, "Everyone ready? Let's go!"

Before everyone sleeps for the night, Irgal asks everyone to gather round for a prayer to Erastil. The ritual is simple, but invigorating.

At dawn, Irgal prays to Erastil and checks on the remains of the horses before continuing.

Irgal pulls out his veterinarian's kit. "Let me take a closer look," he replies, testily. He offers a prayer "Erastil, strengthen my resolve..." and examines the wounds.

Regarding marching order, I'm an archer, so I can be toward the back, as long as you don't mind putting the small guy back there.

Irgal starts carving a makeshift gravestone into a piece of driftwood as he prepares the corpse. He takes time to examine his effects. "If we can identify him, we will be able to tell someone, somewhere about his passing. You're right, he won't need his sword, so we can take it. Certainly there must be someone who misses him."

He grasps his holy symbol and chants, "Deadeye, grant me sight."

Cast detect magic.

He looks the body, sword, and pouch over one last time.

Irgal's not leaving without a proper burial, either. The paladin's not the only LG religious guy here.

Many apologies. Work has been absolutely insane this week.

Irgal stops worrying about the orc corpse as he draws his little morningstar. Then, in one swift movement, he stands tall, a little too tall, looking Harken square in the eye, winks, and swings at the last standing orc.

Drop longbow, draw morningstar two-handed, enlarge for a round (Growth domain), and attack.

Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

...Okay, that's funny.
