DM: What is your opinion on the words of power system for spells? Thinking about an life oracle for summoning and support.

I cast my vote for Jade Regent. It seems to be very popular as the last few recruitment threads all had over 25 applicants.

Dotted for interest. Need more info before deciding on character. Probably a high int male.

How does crafting work in your system DM? Is a character focused on building things viable? I'm interested in playing character that focuses on applied sciences given the abundance of interest on the theoretical side.

Also are all science and crafting skills keyed off of int?

Not familiar with the setting so will do some research.
