Elemental Ray (Sp): Starting at 1st level, you can unleash an elemental ray as a standard action, targeting any foe within 30 feet as a ranged touch attack. This ray deals 1d6 points of damage of your energy type + 1 for every two sorcerer levels you possess. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Charisma modifier.
Elemental Resistance (Ex): At 3rd level, you gain energy resistance 10 against your energy type. At 9th level, your energy resistance increases to 20.
Breath Weapon (Su): At 9th level, you gain a breath weapon. This breath weapon deals 1d6 points of damage of your energy type per sorcerer level. Those caught in the area of the breath receive a Reflex save for half damage. The DC of this save is equal to 10 + 1/2 your sorcerer level + your Charisma modifier. You’ve studied magic intensely, and hope to increase that knowledge by adding lost lore. You’ve come to pursue that study, and chose this place as your base because it was out of the way of bigger cities—meaning less competition to study the ancient monuments in the region, you hope!
Benefit You gain a +1 trait bonus on Knowledge (arcana) checks, and Knowledge (arcana) is a class skill for you. Background:

Born to an explorer caste in Jalmeray, The Ifrit was trained to harness is blood borne abilities to a group of cloistered and highly respected monks away from his family due to his haughty and often uncontrolable (If not destructive) powers.
Decades later, he would earn the respect of his family and peers only to find that the grandchildren of his siblings were now the focus.
Thanks to the training within the monastery, he had learned self control and the value of knowing you place within a society. Due to this, Imoya felt he had no need for his family directly any longer. Taking leave as an explorer, a title well earned among the scholars and monks and acknowledged of his extended of his extended family, he left to venture in the ‘birth place of heroes’ as he knew Verisia to be. There, he made a living working for an old man in a town called Sandpoint. For a time, it was good. But the Unpleasantness that rocked the town also lead him to become a prime suspect. Though he was never found guilty of any horrid transgression thanks to several factors, he eventually made his way south east.
During his travels, a lovely elven woman, Dil'va, had garnered his attention and togather they ventured. Detouring his original plans they lingered in forests and plains, stopping in towns for merriment and engaging local thugs for extra money. She was impulsive and beautiful and before long, they married. Imoya fashioned a ring, melted into a mold form his own fire. A unique signet made his passionate flames.
His joy wasn't to last.
Staying at an Inn within Korvosa's walls... Dil'va set out to acquire some last minute gear for their next trip... She didn't return.
When Imoya was found and contacted to meet at the scene, he become incrediable stoic, as if the candle flame that was lit was snuffed out and her unique ring gone...That was 5 years ago...

…Imoya Arrived in Korvosa to find the city recovering from a plague. Very well trained military units now patrolling the city… He merely seeks to find his place now...Though part of his still bares the ever burning spark of retribution and a need for vengeance.
