She could tell the doctor was just a civilian who seemed have have been dropped into this. The Welshman was a user of the arts so he know the hidden world. The prof now the hidden world as they had talked about it a aften for his research. The ranting woman screams of being a see'er of the bright ways. And the burly man had seen combat, he was not even shocked buy what had happened, and he know the prof so it was likely he know things. So what to do with this Doctor and the rambling see'er woman? "Liston Doctor, it is good that you caring for za professor, he means a lot to me. I agree he needs a hospital. As for your Letter It seems its not from ze professor ze you are not here for him as we are." She bends down and kneels by the doctor, she places her hand on Billies hand reassuringly and carries on taking now in a lower voice. "Hir Doctor zis is not your world, zis is the world of bad men doing bad things, and the zi rulez you play by in zis world of bad men are deadly ones as you have seen. Zo I suggest you take hir professor to the hospital and zat woman there who wants you to stay zo much, keep them safe, let us deal with ze very bad men for ze professor."
She lets go if Billie's hand and then turns and asks the professor directly. "Hir professor you ask myself, Khaled, John, and hir Dafydd here for a rezon, what would you have do for you?"

Of being found out, used or abused,so she has spent a lot of her 100 years + dealing with the underworld and undesirable types. She has been in more than one gun fight, been ambushed and attacked. She has needed to become a hard, and at times a killer , like now. She is someone who dose what’s needed. And Her normal life is just a cover , she has never had a normal like.
Helena now seeing the professor has treated, fully relaxes. And it seems this young Doctor was known to the professor. Well then it seems that they still have a problem with dead bodies and who made them dead. She has killed one, and this Doctor had accounted for one shot as well. So one of the gents must have killed the other. She still wanted everyone back in the house. And still the police had not arrived. It could be the locals did not want trouble. So no one had called contacted them. But still it was odd.
Helena keeps to one side, and gives the Doctor room to work. But she was getting a little annoyed at this Doctors attitude. Who was she anyway? sneaking around in the bushes, shooting someone then seemly wanting to run away from the crime, while telling others to as sh bids. Self preservation yes, but she was now acting very oddly. It seemed the professor did not know her, as she was not on his list of invited. So was she part of the attack? Did she shoot her own man to cover her tracks? Helena now moved around to get a clear view of the prof and slipped her hand under her coat.
But as she sees the woman really seeming to be healing the Professor she relaxes. her hand coming back out from her coat.

Still looking for cleaning stuff, Helena at the sound of the Professors cry rushes outside just in time to hear him start to talk to the others. Then on naming her and the others she seems happy he is well. She aborts the idea of cleaning up and retirees her coats and hat.
She says "Vandabar!"
'Ak! zer is a few of the bag guys, I will rap them for removal. Ze good guy I will leave for you." She seems happy to do the cleaning. The one she shot in the neck she says. "Look at you, zis need not have happen, if only you had taken a good path in life my friend. Now your life is all over ze floor. Come I will get you to some wast land to be found zo your loved ones can zay goodbyez"

Helena watch the small Asian woman leave. she understood her feelings, this was a mess, and self preservation was the oder of the day. Helena was use to others finding her somewhat disconcerting. Helena looks kneels down and placing a hand on Professor Finch says in a soft voice, "Professor Finch it is Helena, we have come as asked, we will look for Madame La Rochefoucauld but we have to get you into some clean dry cloths and safe." Then standing once more, the tall Germanic woman says to the group as a hole. "I am Helena Conradina Von Der and I know ze Professor well. May I offer you all another suggestion. We stay here, we don't leave the Professor's home open with dead in it for he police to find. Ze attackers have fed yes, the police have not yet come yet yes. Professor Finch iz now not in danger, zo!." She look around once more but keeps talking. "I suggest We move him to a safe room inzide his home. We get him into clean cloths and a nice hot cup of tea. and We clean up, bodies and all. If the police come I well keep them outside and zay, we had a small party with zome fireworks, sorry to wake ze locals." Then she looks back at them all. "While we do zis, we do a full search for Madame La Rochefoucauld and for clues. Do not ask me how, but I know the attackers are going to a warehouse, and now I know its a Geldersen & Co painted one, zo a look at ze phone book for us unt address." Then she smiles and takes a step back to the front door, stopping she looks back, taking out a small Cigarillo she lights it with a silver lighter, and takes a pull before letting the smoke out, then asks. "Zo! we go back inside yes? and out of this bloody English rain" As she talks in her that Germanic direct way of hers, Helena, seems unfazed by all this. Welllll.... there in is a story, the British empire was based more on trade than anything. Yes we had a modern army pushing The Empire into new lands, but behind that was mercantilism, some time we did not even have to fight, just showed up and paid off the local powers. But then you have to Encourage trade, no point being the heart of the Industrial revolution if no one can get your goods or have the cash to pay for them. Sooo, you have to develop local Governance and with that local markets. Bring in trade law, build infrastructure. By the time you do all that the local band of tribes who you where dealing with now look very much like their own Nation state. The kids of the local leaders have now all be to Oxford and know full well that back home can rule itself. The very things that made the British empire where its inevitable downfall. So we could have given the developing states of America representation, but just like Canada, Australia and others. The USA was always going to become its own country, of maybe countries, with possibly the King Queen of England as a figurehead of state. But we shall never know, What the USA did with its form of Independence with brake the mould of Kings or Gods being the figurehead of state. The USA place "The People" of the state front and center. No one had ever done that before. The founding fathers knew that you had to brake with the past if you had any home of making a better future. State/LAW/Faith Separated and clear lines. Now we can talk about the endless push and pull between the three branches today, but they have always done so and thats healthy. This multi-political strength is in this push and pull and the ability to adapt quickly to events. Where as nono-political systems like one party states/Juntas become frigid over time, inflexible and so weak and fall, where as democratic states tend to last a lot lot longer. The British empire had a parliament, Lords and a king, A king with now power, yet acts as oversight by means of the lords. Its near impossible for a despot to come into power in the UK, as military have allegiance to the king 1st. But its parliament that has the power pay for and go to war. I often find it frustrating in a Fantasy setting that, that authors go with King/Lords/Knights Medieval fusalsiem all the time. I ran a game once where the Dragons where trying to introduce Democracy to the world setting. HAhah.

She is glad to see Dafydd, when he comes back and takes the other side of the old man. "Out into ze garden" Down the steps and out they went.
The fire was getting out of hand, she was worried about the smoke, that was a killer. Putting her gun away, she grabbed the arms of the unconscious man on the floor and started to drag him out the room.
At the hall way she stops and calls them men. "I have stopped ze bleeding for now, but We haz to get zim out of ze building before it burns down. Can you carry him?"
The old man was stable so she looked up and saw the one in the doorway worries he is going to come back. She snaps a shot off at to keep him back.
"Shaiser!" She got angry with herself for being a bit too good with a gun, as she hits him.
As they ran from her she ducked down behind the table and where the professor was, gun in hand still, just in case they came back and checked the Professor wounds.
"I haz a wounded man here!" Her gun never wavering from point at the two asalans now running to the back room.
Thats all fine GM, its more what she would do given the 1936 and how things are done. She was not trying to kill them just stop the killing.
In the room Helena's handgun came up fast and pointed at the one across the table at one of the men who had shoot at her. "Drop your weapons!! We haz you zurrounded!!" Steel was in her eyes. She had always wanted to say these lines, just like in the movies with Mr Jimmy Cagney.
Then coldly she shot at him to make her point.
There was no doubt that Helena was a daily shot. As she aimed for the shoulder that was holding the gun. "Ze next one will go throw your head, Zo drop Zem!!" She said coldly leveling her luger at his skull

I beg to differ given the setting, which is my very point. Investigators in a medieval setting where Knights wear armor and its the weakness in that training that lets an investigator in. We are not playing in that world. We are playing in a world where armor was made redundant back in the 1600s. Its this feat of weapon focus, {I do like that idea its ALL firearms how ever, then it would be worth it} Say Sherlock homes, is a crack shot in this setting. As THE investigator it would be a feat tax I feel just to get him to that point. If the GM feels my PC has to go the long way to this, then its a redesign of my PC, If the GM rules my PC dose not need weapon focus then great just switch out a talent. :)

Under "Guns everywhere" {which I think is the game setting} Guns Everywhere: Guns are commonplace. Early firearms are seen as antiques, and advanced firearms are widespread. Firearms are simple weapons, and early firearms, advanced guns, and their ammunition are bought or crafted for 10% of the cost listed in this chapter. The gunslinger loses the gunsmith class feature and instead gains the gun training class feature at 1st level. I would have to rebuild my PC some what to fix the fact she cant use studied combat with her light weapons. I think what I am asking is can I use my studied combat on range light firearms weapons without seemingly needing to pay this feat tax.

Helena hearing the shots from up stairs, spun and before anyone could acts, she moved up them gun now in hand now. she stopped at the stop to check what was going on.
As the front door started to open, Helena quickly put her gun behind her back. Looking to see who it was, and not recognising her at all. The lady of ze house? She thought to herself. She put her finger up to her lips in the universal sign of "Be Quiet" please. The she tried to keep and eye on the door next to them and the now open front door and the woman at it.
As he pulls a Luger out she smiled. Yes an americans loved guns like the 1911 'rod' as the gangster films called it. It had stopping power, but you needed to be strong as a farmers daughter to use one, one handed and they where inaccurate as hell. The brits loved a good webley revolver, reliable, but so bulky and soooo slow to reload. Where as the German Luger was a work of modern art, Accurate, light, easy to hold and reload. The fact he had one give her confidence in him. She clicked off the Safety on her own as he went to open the door.
Seeing the others were moving upstairs and seeing Dafydd needed support here and now. But she now regretted locking the front door, if they had to run for it they needed a way out.
