Background:

Heinrick grew up as a farmer who had learned how to cropdust on the world of Skye, until he was recruited into the Steiner Military.
They sent him to university where he was taught how to fly a Chippawa.
Steiner then assigned him to a unit that was tied to one of the RCT’s.
During the Clan Invasion, he was shot down, and ended up spending several months running around trying to get off the planet.
Once he got back to Steiner Lines, he was assigned to an Axeman mech unit in a RCT due to the assembly lines not having produced enough ships to equip him again.
He used the Axeman for a couple of years, and got used to it. However, his machine was destroyed in a raid while he was on leave.
When he returned, he was at loose ends, and decided to take a major cash out which he translated to tools and firearms, boxed them up in a storage container, and eventually found himself beside the ship the Jenni Lynne, in time for its voyage.
