Appearance:
Halga is tall with a muscular build. He has dark blue eyes and an untamed mass of long blond hair that falls past his shoulders. The only adornment he wears is two thick braids in his hair on the left side. His clothes are simple leathers chosen more for function than style. Halga prefers a short goatee, but will let his shaving go during long trips.
Personality:
Halga is not known to be especially chatty. But he is honest, dependable and loyal. Raised with the "old country" stories of heroes and tales of valor, he tries his best to live up to those lofty standards. His family's code of honor, brought with them so long ago, has helped shape him into the man he is today. Halga is strong and steady, a workhorse personality.
Background:
Halga grew up in a large and very close knit family. A long time ago, his family had ended up in a port town plying their trade, ship building. Growing up in a port town, he tried his hand as a sailor but never liked it too much. More often, he was brought along for his shipwright's skills for repairs. His quick axes never hurt much either. He'd even tagged along on a pirate ship or two, but the unsteadiness of the crew made him uneasy. Preferring a steadier hand at the helm (so to speak), he signs on with various other ships, either merchants or expeditions, for the chance to travel to glory and adventure.
