"I can keep going if the rest agree. If not, I will stand watch over us," Gunn says. He looks around to gauge the place. "I'd rather be in somewhere we can defend, dwarf god or not."

Gunnarrex takes another swing at the undead. If I can just smash its ugly dwarven skull...

Gunnarrex hisses at the undead thing, and then steps back from it far enough to bash it with the haft of his hammer, trying to make some space for a proper swing. The huecuva's hard flesh takes no damage from Gunn's attack.

Gunnarrex cautiously follows the others into the room. He motions to the seated figure, and mimes approaching it, then looks to the others for confirmation.

Unless someone stops him, Gunnarrex will approach the seated figure for a closer look.

Gunnarrex wedges the thick oak haft of his hammer into the door to use as a lever, and then lends all his strength to opening it. "Grab ahold an give me some aid, companions!"

Draconic"I am not suited to sneaking about. At least not by the standards of our kind. I will lead the slower group from the fore. Should any threats overcome you and try to attack the rest of us, I will be there to meet them," Gunnarrex says to Dra'zaak and Aardic. He crosses his arms over his chest and waits for the inevitable further discussion. Never knew working in a group would require so much patience. Draconic - "We should just snap off the legs, and carry what parts of the exoskeletons are intact. The meat inside them is liquidy. Best if you crack the shell, and suck it out like a straw. We used to get these back home sometimes," Gunnarrex suggests. "If we're going to be traveling together perhaps we should start practicing fighting together in tight spaces."

Some of the melee people should grab teamwork feats. I believe there's one that lets you squeeze together, and another that lets adjacent allies count as flanking, then a third that increases flanking bonus to +4.

Couple things I would like to bring up as possibilities:

1. It has been suggested that I use Roll20 for our game mat, which would make it easier for players to indicate their movement and easier for me to modify where people are and what can be seen than using static images. Would anyone object?

2. It has also been suggested that we use a group initiative and simply go in posting order. (All players get a turn, then all monsters get a turn, or other way around, whichever player posts first acts first.) Any thoughts on this or other suggestions? Or are people happy with the current system?

3. I've been trying to post about once per day to give everyone time to post, would you like me to instead post new content as long as at least 4-5 players have posted their actions, to keep things bustling along?

1. Love Roll20, use it for all my games now. Yes, please.

2. Definitely. Saves tons of time, and easier for you to summarize at the bottom of the round as well!

3. I'd be happy if you post new content when at least two people have posted and no one has opposed. We're in for a long, long dungeon crawl at the beginning of WotR, and dungeon crawls kill PBPs. More updates = better, people will post when they have time. They won't post if there are no updates from the GM.

These are of course my personal opinions, but just check my main profile to see how many games I've run on PBP and how many of them have failed. Learn from my mistakes! ;)

The soft skinned gods have nothing on our great forefather. Quantity does not indicate quality," Gunnarrex responds. "I do not hate them, but we have better things to worry about. "I already said that, Nameless one," Guinnarrex retorts to Dra'zaak. He unlimbers the two handed hammer from his back and says, "I'll have a look."

Holding the hammer in front of him cautiously, Gunn waits for the other dragons to have weapons in hand. He spares a curious look for the snake spirit thing, but it does not deter him from his "mission". The bloodrager walks quietly up to the spider carcass, and pokes it lightly with his hammer.

Gunnarrex gets to his feet, and looks around, taking in the situation. "Five other dragons? What fate is this...?" he wonders aloud in draconic, as he goes to pick up the fallen silver scales of Terendelev. She saved us...one scale for each of us?

The warrior stacks the scales and tucks them behind his belt, going to help the other Kobolds to their feet. "Oh yeah, I'm Gunnarrex, formerly of the Sootscale tribe of Brevoy." Gunnarrex points to the spider. "There's something inside that spider carcass eating it. I also found these scales," he says showing the silver scales to the others. "We should probably try to help the pink skins too..." he adds as an afterthought.

So this is it! I'll finally get to see the great dragon I've heard so much about. I've traveled halfway across the north for this chance, I can't believe it's finally here! Gunnarrex thinks to himself excitedly as he shoves his way through the crowd. He might only come up to most big peoples' thighs, but his impressive crown of draconic horns and golden hued scales lend him a majestic and intimidating mien. The tiny dragon warrior is huge for a kobold, bulging with muscle under his scale mail armor. There is a large (for him), spiked warhammer on his back, something that might take a hand and a half for a big person to wield. The crowd gives way before Gunnarrex, or he growls and glares at them until they do. He'd always had a bit of the wyrmfear about him, and he relies on it to get his way in a world made for bigger men. He finally finds a suitable spot, clambering up on a water barrel next to a lamp post. A gnome tries to join him on the barrel, but he drives the inferior feyling away with a single angry hiss. "Alright, I'm ready. Let's get this party started!" he shouts in draconic.
