Reflex: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21

Grubglub dives once more out of the way of the icy breath then nods in silent satisfaction as the dragons body drops from the sky. He turns his attentions back to the kobold, darting in front of Mun to strike out with his whip.

Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

Just read Nigels post.. put this in place only if the creature resists.. GrubGlub will not outright kill an unarmed nonthreatening creature.

The dragon flies off, and GrubGlub is without any applicable weapons. He turns and carefully picks his way out of the difficult area, heading towards the battle raging to the side.
"You will not prevail, Dragon!" he calls out over the clamor. "Neither distance nor allies will save you from your deeds.." He pulls his whip out, getting ready to close with any remaining kobolds should the opportunity present itself.

GRRR!!!! Damn it! First time ever using it in 3 levels, roll a freaking 20, and its a no-go. LMAO!! Not your fault, thanks for catching me on that. I should have realized it was flying and not just sitting there. Lets go with the dagger. Heres the damage!

Work kicked my backside yesterday. Passed out when I got home and slept for almost 12 hrs!!

As the dragon takes wing, Grubglub is in awe of its majesty. This is the first dragon he has seen, and he certainly falls momentarily under the spell of the great lizards majesty!

Reflex: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
This awe does not, however, prevent the grippli from dodging to the side, avoiding the freezing cold cone expelled by the beast.

Rolling back to his feet, GrubGlub calls out "You are a great and mighty creature! It is a shame that you have chosen the wrong side of this conflict! You will be brought down, great dragon!"

Leaving the kobolds to the Elemental, he steps forward to challenge the dragon. GrubGlub stops short, pulling a net from his waist and flinging it towards the dragon.
Snag Net: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25

The net wraps around the dragon, hopefully fouling its wings and pinning it to the ground!

Escape artist DC 22 to escape!

As the echoes begin to fade from the monstrous voice of their foe, GrubGlub turns to his companions. "It seems we have found our destination. May the gods be with and within us.." He bows his head in genuflection as he is tapped with his wand of Mage Armor and then sets off for the opening, barely coming around the corner.

I am guessing a standard action to allow himself to be tapped with the wand, then a move action.

GrubGlub comes to the fore of the party now, after remaining quiet for so long. He turns to the King and says "Although I prefer quiet talk and reason to bloodshed, there is a season for each in which we must act. If we do not act, this great evil will awaken, and nowhere will be safe. Your inaction here could spell doom for the Pathfinders in the near term, but if we fail, certain death will fall upon your heads eventually!"

Grubglub presses the fight, chasing after the last kobold with his whip. The weighted dart flies through the air, striking the scaly reptilian, but not bringing it to its knees as hoped. "Yield! Yield NOW!" the grippli cries out in Draconic. "Yield and you may live."

Ischell: Thanks for the notes and opinion.. I really look forward to what GrubGlub can do with this! He has a snag net for reach, but I don't think he's ever even used it effectively in combat.

^^^ Exactly why most of my characters are NOT magic users!!!! lmao! Sorry, nothing real to contribute to the discussion here that hasn't been said and actually, I am learning a bit here. Personally, I have not run into this problem before, and have only dealt with Enlarge spells as either SLA's or actual spells.

I can see both sides of the argument though. On one hand, you don't want to nerf the character or the spell, but on the other hand I agree that wands should not be an automatic and free quickened spell.

At the outset of the journey, GrubGlub handed his wands off to those who can reliably use them, instructing them to use them for the group as needed. As the group travels, GrubGlub asks to have his mage armor refreshed as needed!
So it should have been up prior to battle!

As the bodies start to come into view, grubglub bounces over to examine one and check for any life signs. "We must hurry.. I pray we are in time to save the rest of the encampment!"

As the main horde comes into view clustered around the cave mouth, he dashes forward, crying out to those left inside. "We are coming! Stay strong and we will rescue you!"

Double move straight into the middle of it!

Hi there all! I had completely forgotten about this table!! I also have played A and B with this character, and just GM'd part C at GenCon, so I will have to take a back seat to any decision making that takes place. I will go through his sheets and make sure he is updated here very shortly.

When possible, GrubGlub is very much about talking his way through things and trying to mitigate any rough times with smooth words. However, when words fail he rushes into the combat and tries to control the battlefield with his 9 section whip and its trip property. He has a wand of Mage Armor that he passes off to be used as frequently as needed both for himself and anyone else wishing to use it. In addition, there is a wand of CLW that is handed over to a healer to use as needed for the party. In both cases, just let me know how many charges to deduct.

I have no problems with liberal use of botting, and objectively I may be the one most at need of such. I live in the US, but work night shift in a busy hospital where even if I had time, the internet is completely locked down. Therefore I am only able to post in the mornings (around now) and sometimes in the afternoons before work. In addition to this, I am in the middle of moving, so for the next week or two my posting may be kind of sporadic depending on the daily schedule. Good news is that arrangements have already been made for the internet to be installed at the new place so there will not be a lapse in service, just possible lapses in time to post. So.. If I am holding things up because something kicked off while I was asleep and its not going to be until the next morning until I can get on here, please don't hesitate to bot me and I will put up a post either recapping the post in my words or moving things along when I can.

As the angelic presence appears, he bows his head in respect, ttouching knuckle to forehead. "I will assist you, Medda. This evil needs to be vanquished for once and all." His hands disappear into his robe sleeves as he patiently waits for the leaders to organize the next leg off this adventure.

He looks to his companions, to see if they need any help with wounds.

Grubglub likes talking things out.. but he isn't opposed to smacking things on the nose when they need it either! (Meaning talking is great, but being outvoted isn't going to hurt my feelings!)

Grubglub continues to close on the large zombie, the sections and dart of his whip flipping and spinning through the air all around him. Suddenly, he whips it across to try and strike and entangle the creature before him.

THanks, Lancyn.

Grubglub continues to charge forward, sliding into a defensive ready stance. The dust from his flapping feet is still rolling through the air as he flicks a dagger from his belt through the air and at the larger of the two opponents.

On mobile and traveling today. Could someone move grubglub forward 60 feet? He charges into battle.. will post tonight.

Reflex: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27 I have evasion, so I am assuming no damage?

GrubGlub hurls himself out of the way of the falling chandelier before throwing himself onto the newest threat! Unfortunately he has trouble with the broken shards of crystal beneath his tender webbed feet.

Grr.. looks like my post yesterday didn't take..

Grubglub does what he can during the negotiations, but finds himself duly outclassed by Lilianna's expertise. As the rest of the group prepares to follow the Kellids, GrubGlub follows as well. "This is good course.. and right. We shall help you in what ways we can." he says to the invaders.

Token on board.

GrubGlub looks to Heorn with a raised eyebrow.. then cautiously takes the wineskin after Lilianna and takes a small swig. "This.. is a good vintage." he says appreciatively, handing it back to the dwarf before looking around the room.

Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24

If he doesn't see anything of interest, he looks to the rest of the group. "Let us see what the upstairs holds for us now.." With these words, he leads the way ahead.

Grubglub takes a step forward, readying his weird collection of attached staves. They whip out before him at the Greenish tinged creature in a blurred hiss of metal and wood followed almost instantaneously by the sharp retorts of impact!

GrubGlub catches back up with the group, and as the dogs begin growling and snarling, GrubGlub holds out his hands in a peaceful nonthreatening gesture.

"Here Doggie, doggie. It's ok.. We are trying to help.. No reason to get upset.."
carefully pulls a piece of meat from a ouch on his belt normally reserved for munching while traveling and tosses it out on the floor in front of the dogs.

As the runes fade away, GrubGlub turns back to his companions. "Very good! It seems that I have fallen in with a diverse group for this mission! Where to now? Personally, I suggest the first floor and work our way up. We should clear the way so we are not beset by foes from two sides.."
Big froggy eyes ogle the group in query, awaiting a response.
