Yup, I totally screwed that up. Thanks for the advice though

Anyone have ideas? I'm thinking things with no saving throw and/or relatively common and devastating to come across in your average High level adventuring day.

Basically my question is in the title. Trying to figure if Gunslinger can Multiclass into Trophy Hunter Ranger and not have to start over for level progression of deed access.

Are Gunslinger and Trophy Hunter Ranger levels intended to stack for deeds that can be selected?

So are there any price keystones upon which to make and Infinite sky musket or a smiting rapier?

My question is, is there any defined rules regarding putting specific magic item qualities on custom magic items? Can I put the Pistol of the infinite sky property's (other than the +5) on a musket? Can my Sun-sword be a scimitar that is wielded like a sort sword? Can I mke Celestial armor other than +3?

Either way thanks for the effort guys.

No I don't have that and I could have sworn it was official Pathfinder material. Man, I know this didn't come out of nowhere.

I came across an old character of mine that has a summoner class option called Persistent Eidelon. It replaces a summoner's Summon Monster SLAs with the ability for the Eidelon to remain while the summoner is asleep unconscious or even dead. I know that this isn't Home brew and I doubt its third party material but I cant seem to find where this Class feature came from. I copy and pasted it into my Character sheet from where i got it originally. I'm trying to find the origin of the class feature if possible. Copied text to follow:

Persistent Eidelon
This archetype applies to the summoner, but affects the eidelon. A persistent eidelon does not become banished if it's summoner is unconscious, asleep, or otherwise incapacitated. Even death does not banish the eidelon.

Benefit: The eidelon, once summoned, is not banished by the summoner being asleep, unconscious, or even dead. However, if an eidelon is reduced to 0 hp or banished while it's summoner is in one of these three states, then the eidelon is banished and cannot return until it is resummoned by the summoner. The eidelon cannot be healed by any means while his summoner is unconscious, asleep or dead, not even by friendly clerics or other summoners. The eidelon must still stay within it's proscribed distances of the summoner to remain on the physical plane. If they move far enough away from the summoner's body to lose hp, they are banished instead.

If the summoner dies, the eidelon is living on borrowed time. It cannot leave the body of it's summoner (although it may pick it up and take it with it, if it has sufficient strength and size). The eidelon cannot heal while it's summoner is dead, either. Thus the eidelon's only choice is to take it's summoner to a friendly party willing to resurrect or reincarnate them, or to bury the summoner in a safe place and then return to it's realm. If the summoner's body is destroyed, but not eradicated, then the eidelon only needs the largest available piece of it's summoner. If the summoner's body is completely destroyed (by a wish, or disintegrate spell, or other means), then the eidelon is banished.

Replaces: This replaces the summoner's spell like ability to summon creatures.

Awesome! Thanks again.

Thanks Anzyr. Can you point me in the direction of where the text on power activation is located. I may have just missed it in my search.

Thanks to everyone for the answers. The 100x material component charge is pretty hefty but if that's the clear answer I'll take it.

Also regarding Intelligent items and action economy, what are the rules? If I attack with my Intelligent sword in a round can the sword use its own actions to cast a spell? Does the sword have to make concentration checks for vigorous motion while casting? I'm looking for clear rules on how intelligent items use their abilities.

My question is regarding the Special purpose and dedicated power section of the intelligent magic item creation rules. On the SRD the price for a seventh level at will dedicated power is listed as 182000 gp. Does that price include costly material components or is there an additional price if you choose a spell that has one? If there is an additional cost, how do you calculate it?
