About Gip Hobblefoot
Firey red hair caps off this somewhat eccentric halfling. Tall-ish (by halfling standards), Gip walks with a general swagger and confidence that belies his stature. Typically dressed in leathers and adorned with items of the dungeoneer's trade, he spends most of his time not adventuring carousing among Absalom's many drinking halls, always with a smile on his face.
With the purchase of an old tavern not far from the Grand Lodge in Absalom's Foreign Quarter, Gip has begun to leave his grand carousing days behind him. He still is a legendary merry-maker, he just primarily keeps to his own establishment, the Accidental Tavern. He readily encourages the veneration of the Drunken God and has hired a young female cleric of the Lucky Drunk to act as his second and keep watch over the place when he is out on missions for the Society. Also working as a co-brewer and serving as the Accidental Tavern's primary bouncer is Gip's good friend, the warrior Joc.
After an extensive adventuring career throughout Golarion and the worlds beyond, the plucky halfling earned the trust of the Decemvirate and was instilled as a full Venture Captain. He thought long and hard about where to set up his new lodge and after many long nights (and even more empty pints) he decided that his skills would be best served maintaining positive relations with the Dwarves of the Five Kings region. Upon being granted leave from High King Borogrim to take up residence in the de facto capitol of Highhelm, Gip very quickly moved to open his lodge. However, being the devout follower of the Drunken God that he is, Gip's lodge is Pathfinder sanctuary, feasthall, brewery, and temple to Cayden Cailean all in one.
