About Giles Gilkinson III
Giles has a mouth that finds him trouble. It’s always been this way but over the years he’s learned to control it - MOST of the time. It’s how he started his life on the road about fifty years ago. He doesn’t like to be told what to do but he learned the hard way that are lots of times you have to swallow your pride if you want to swallow food. Or booze, which he swallows and swallows. He’s tried to quit lots of times. He is more devoted to that concept much more in the morning, but as the day wears on the jingle in his head and his pocket starts to burn a hole.
In all this time he has had more than his share of good times and bad. He is currently experiencing the later and has found himself at the end of his favors with everyone he knows. It’s past time for him to hit the road and farther away this time. He is struggling to find a place where no one knows his face. Maybe this time he’ll be able to not piss off those who care for him. Maybe this time he can find some way to give his wandering soul a rest. Doubtful, but at least there’ll be something new to discover around the next turn in the road.
