Background: Garoc's family was slain and his village destroyed by a blue dragon when he was only 14. He swore vengeance, but he knew he could not defeat the beast untrained and alone. He traveled then to Absalom to gather what power, skill, and wealth he would need to slay the dragon. He has joined the Pathfinder Society as a means to this end, and he lusts after the rewards of the adventurer's life. All through his wanderings, though, he wonders why the dragon spared him alone. Was his meager skill at woodcraft enough to hide him from the legendary perception of the dragon, or was there some connection between them?
