About Garnet "Garn" Ironshanks

Garnet is the first daughter of the noble clan Ironshanks, and she was raised to follow in her mother's footsteps as a master armorsmith. Nevermind that she dreamed of joining her older cousins on the field of battle in pursuit of honor and glory; nevermind that she grew strong as the forge-steel and as stout as the century-old anvil; and nevermind that her two older brothers were content to let others fight for them--she felt the call to battle as keenly as any of the Dwarven Paragons of old!

So it was that, soon after crafting her masterpiece armor in secret, Garnet found out an older cousin was putting together an unauthorized mission to learn about the missing Dammerhall. Of course, she was not invited, but she showed up anyway posing as just another Dwarven mercenary named "Garn", wearing her heavy armor and speaking little. As fate would have it, far along the deep roads her expedition was ambushed and overpowered, and now she is enslaved by foul magic, forced to fight at the pleasure of her new masters...

Character Sheet

What I Remember:

You would have made your way down into a deep crevice, lots of climbing and squeezing. You must have brought along a guide familiar with deep delves into the Darklands. You might have had to dodge duergar hunting parties, making your way through Nar-Voth and deeper into Sekamina. Here you found a massive chamber with an unbearably bright light glowing from a crack in the ceiling, creating an underground forest. You saw a monumental statue of a dwarf carved into a distant wall, but before you could make your way to it, you were set upon by elves. Not dark elves, but elves not quite like those from the surface either.

Fighting a retreat against them and massive lizards, you made your way into a the relative safety of a cave opening almost directly across from the statue. (This cavern is miles and miles across). From there, there was screeching and a sudden fog came over your mind.

My Mission:

I'll have you ascend to where they are sheltered and knock loudly on the door with your hammer. Your directives will be to get them to lower their guard and to understand that their host is a friend. Of course, their host (and your controller) is actually a vampiric bat monster, but they don't know that. Garn does know that, but has complete faith in his dominator. Upon encountering the dwarves, I'm going to give you a new chance to throw off the domination.
I'll be introducing you soon with the goal of defending something/someone called Balam.
