Description

A mountain of a man Gallus not only towers over most men standing at 6'5" he also has barrel sized chest that would put most dwarfs to shame. His head is shaved and his skin is well tanned. A single tatto surronds his left eye in the shape of a diamond. He wears a chain shirt with a dark red tabard atop with some sort of worn black stenciling upon it. The only thing larger then himself in the room is his glaive which is never far from his side.

Background
Of Chellish Descent Gallus was born to a military father who was a member of the Chellish army stationed in westcrown. His father was abusive man to his troops and to his family. Gallus grew up knowing that the smallest of mistakes could spell a beating from his father for himself or his mother. Because of this enviroment Gallus grew very close and protective of his mother and did everything in his power to ensure his father was happy.
Shortly after his 12 th birthday Gallus's mother died of a wasting disease that the clerics were unable to to cure her of. This sent his father into a rage in which he blamed everything including his son. It was at this point where Gallus was sent of to train in one of the harshest military schools in Cheliax so his father would not have to see what he viewed as the cause of his wifes death.
Crushed by the death of his mother Gallus threw himself into the training at the school with a frevor that only one who does not care what happens to them could. His power and indiffernce to his own well being led him to be one of the most respected students in the school as well as one of the most feared.
He found comfort in the structure as well as the training that allowed him to focus on the moment rather then his past. Eventually after graduating from the school Gallus was at a crossroads in his life. He detested the army as to him it represented his father who he had not even seen in 6 years. Instead he opted to join the Dottari who were the force of order and law in Westcrown.
He was well respected in the Dottari and was well liked by the other men and his commanders. Many thought that he would rise quickly through the ranks this was not to be.
One day his squad was responding to a fight at a bar and when they arrived they found a man beating another man near to death in the road. The Dottari ordered the man to stand down when they realized he was an officer in the army and Gallus also realized he was his father. His father ordered them to stand down and that he was an officer in the army and there was nothing they could do to him. Suddenly Gallus went into a rage and attacked his father without warning a short fight ensued which ended quickly with his father impaled at the end of Gallus Glaive. The last sight his father saw was his son's grim visage staring down at him in the road.
Gallus turned to face the other members of his squad knowing full well that his act was an automatic death sentence. However, fate had a different direction for him for it was at that moment that several friends of the dead man rushed from the bar in a riot attacking the Dottari. Sparing not a look back Gallus left the scene of his crime and was able to flee westcrown before any alarms could be raised.
Since that day Gallus has traveled the lands looking for work and has vowed never to return to his homeland again.

Personality
Gallus is almost obsessive about structure and order.
He strongly believes in the intent of the law but not always the word of the law and detests those who use the law to protect themselves. He has a strong love for children and would easily give his own life to protect one.
