M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Hey hey, it's totally fine. I'm in the last few weeks of school too, so I completely get it.

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Galadin, having recognized the blue light, quickly prays for guidance, asking "what here is evil?"
He hopes his instinct is wrong as he stares at the swordsman, remembering the blue light.
Hue hue hue laughs the wolf.

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Galadin shutters at the display of unnecessary violence, but a slight rise of excitement builds up from his parasite. Oh, perhaps we can manage to... no. Too late. Dead meat is no fun at all. Irf whispers to the paladin. He shrugs it off and proceeds forward with Father Jarad.
Galadin thinks he might have viewed this spell before, as a child.
Spout Lore: 2d6 - 1 ⇒ (5, 6) - 1 = 10

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Galadin, who up to this point has remained reserved and out of the way, aims to help the cleric. He points his sword towards the elf's neck, emphasizing that I am the law!
Relinquish the pack, friend, or become an enemy and perish!
I am the law!: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (2, 4) + 1 = 7

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Nodding at Xha, Galadin moves towards the front. In a whisper he says,
I'm not pretending to lead this pack, only to protect it...

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Galadin nods at the party and starts his climb. He's worn his armor enough that it feels like a second skin, and doesn't impair his movement at all.
DD: 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (5, 2) + 3 = 10
Attempting to aid Cappy in his scaling, he tugs on the rope.
Aid: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (1, 1) + 1 = 3
Alas, too sure of himself, Galadin overestimates his usefulness.
Since I attempted the aid, I should be the one in peril, not Cappy, right? Also, score first experience for the worst possible roll!

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Waiting until he can no longer see or hear the trolls.
Whispering... Perhaps we can use this illusion to greater effect. Some farce to convince them that the spirits are here to defend us, or frighten them. I'm not sure. I'd be more than happy to be the voice, but we'll need a plan to lure them back and create a believable illusion. Any ideas?

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Either way, I think it best we stick together. If we move, I will take the rear position and suggest that Xha stays near the front. Qadir, you should protect from within. If we stay, Xha and I will lead the charge, with Qadir and Cappy flanking. Ultimately, Father Jarad, you are our best chance for support and navigating the labyrinth, so my priority is to keep you protected.

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1

Following the other introductions...
And I am Galadin, son of Galor. Knight of Balin. Protector of the weak and defender of the downtrodden. I vow to be a faithful companion on this quest. But there is... something inside of me I feel I should warn you about. I house the soul of a befouled creature. Irf is a wolf, who bewitched me in my youth. I carry him as a burden. He has promised to be useful during this journey, but know that there are times where I cannot control his appetites...

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Sorry Cappy, just thought the roll was justified through the fiction.... maybe I could have made things worse (i.e. tripping) while trying to get you that string in a sticky situation, or really secure your safety.
Galadin would like to officially begin his quest now. He dedicates himself to defeating the boss in this area, and in return gains freedom from thirst,hunger and sleep as well as invulnerability to bludgeoning damage. (Mr. Frogfoot will tell me my returning vow.)
I feel at peace now as well. I fear this maze will not bode well for us unless we stick together, however. From now on, I petition that we move as one.

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

I'm glad to have had luck, but I'm afraid I'll be far behind him in experience!

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Dmg: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Galadin pats out the last few flames.
My apologies, friend! Here, let me lend you a hand!
Aid: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (6, 3) + 1 = 10

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

You can totally have your own, or I could see Galadin having helped out.

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Galadin also moves into position to defend any allies that may not be as durable.
Defend: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (4, 2) + 1 = 7
Stay strong!

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Galadin grits his teeth and focuses through the flames in order to get to safety.
Defy Danger Con: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (5, 4) + 1 = 10
Smoky, but safe, he drives through.

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

What a day to be away from the computer! So much activity!
Galadin will ensure that everyone is mounted before he hoists himself onto a steed.
Make haste gentlemen! There'll be no use for burnt offerings at this point of the adventure!

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Incoming Dmg: 1d6 - 2 ⇒ (1) - 2 = -1
Galadin and Jarad were obviously hit from the same attack, and they look at each other knowingly that their armor is already proving to be a great protection.
He finally finds a moment to give the halfling a nod of "Thanks."
Shall we be moving, Father? One way or another, I feel that staying here will not end well... To the Barbarian or the cellar?

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Galadin reluctantly asks the wolf for assistance in reversing the hold and trying to use him as a barrier.
Overpower: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (5, 1) + 2 = 8
Not yet, Paladin. But soon. Irf replies.

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Not that I think it makes a difference, but looking at Xha's bonuses to dmg earlier made me realize I'd forgotten to add +1 to mine. I'll be better about remembering :P

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Galadin tries his best to recover and stand in defense of the old man. His ribs ache, but he gets to his feet without too much strain.
Defend: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (4, 3) + 1 = 8
He will use his hold to halve any damage that Jarad would receive if it comes to that.
Father! Look out!

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Damage: 1d10 ⇒ 8
Gnnnnaaaaaa!
Composing himself...Think nothing of it Father. Let's get moving!

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Galadin attempts to free the captured priest as well, charging after the clay horseman. When he gets close enough, he attempts to sever the rope.
Chase and Slash: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (5, 5) + 2 = 12
On my way Father!

6- well at least your getting your veggies

Laughter: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (4, 1) + 1 = 6

Wa - wa- waaaaa....
Bummer, and I really wanted to like that!

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Are we going in the cellar or what? Galadin yells. He prepares his defenses against the oncoming horde.
Defend: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (2, 5) + 1 = 8
1 hold, correct?

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Galadin has a flash in his eye as he looks towards his comrade. He grins, and Qadir is certain for a moment he sees fangs. He shakes his head, then turns his focus again to the approaching threat and task at hand.
More wolves for the pack...

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Galadin takes the tail end to ensure the entire group stays together. Follow the old man. Faster! Stick together!

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Galadin nods at Father Jarad in agreement. He pretends to occupy himself with the buckles on his armor, then clumsily draws his sword, dropping it. The same routine applies to his shield.
Good thing we have some competent champions, for I fear myself lacking at the moment...
He winks at his companions, hoping they follow his lead.

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

So, Galadin's main problem is that he cannot always protect himself from the wolf. There are moments when the wolf comes out and wins. Luckily, Irf is not chaotic evil. There is a method to his madness. He will occasionally require feedings of sorts to be satiated, but up until this point, Galadin has convinced him to only take the extremely sick or wounded (Which ironically, is who Galadin feels most compelled to help). Galadin views Irf as a parasite, but Irf sees their relationship as a partnership or symbiosis. I can explain "why" here for everyone, or message you if you'd like to know. Or keep it a secret to be revealed at a future time. Your call ;)

As far as bonds go, I could see Galadin worrying about Cappy's "misguided behavior."
I think Zim'wa and Hakonyr might command my respects for their beliefs, but I can also hope to help them along the path towards "truth."

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Galadin laughs nervously.Yeah!... Er... Monster on the... battlefield! He eyes his potential future companions to see if his bluff has worked, thumbing towards Kerrigan as if they were old buddies sharing a joke.

M Human / Werewolf Paladin 1
Spoiler:
HP=20/25 AC=+3

Galadin approaches the registration area, and notices the small commotion created by CJ et al. He is slightly drawn the the register near him, simply so he can place himself in a place to intervene should things get rowdy.
To Kerrigan he says, Galadin, the Paladin is I. Know of any groups with an opening? He motions towards the men beside him. Perhaps these gentlemen?

This is Strebor's submission. I didn't do stats yet, but the bak story is ready in the profile.
Galadin, at your service!
