Male Human Paladin (Oath Against Corruption) 1 | HP 13/13 | AC 17 / TO 11 / FF 16 | F +5, R +1, W +4 (+2 against fear) | Perception: +0 | Init +1

Gabrie is watching everything unfolding before his eyes, seeing that his cellmate, the good doctor, is doing something. He curiously watches him as the doctor grabbed the keys. For now, Gabrie does nothing else but wait until the opportunity to get out of this cell shows up.

Sorry that I haven't posted anything. Been busy. Can anyone tell me what's happening now?

Gabrie wakes up, blinking his eyes as he finds himself in a cell with the good doctor whom he saw in his dream earlier. He is unsure of what is happening, and he finds out that he cannot remember much about his past except his own name and the fact that he serves Erastil as his paladin.

Sighing, Gabrie sits up. For now, he needs to ascertain his situation first. He doesn't have his equipment with him right now, and all he can rely on is his own wit.

Will Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23

Gabrie has no idea what is happening anymore. He keeps running and running. Something is chasing him, and he isn't even sure what it is.

It turns out I forgot to post. Sorry about that.

Perception: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (3) + 0 = 3

Gabrie isn't sure what happened to the pale woman anymore because she chose to stick around instead of following them. So, Gabrie will keep running, urging the rest to follow.

Gabrie is inclined to believe that they should stay together, even though it is very hard to accept that this is a dream. He nods at the pale woman, agreeing with her, though when the other man in the group decides that they should follow him and run up the hill, Gabrie tries to stop him but he already starts running.

"Wait-" He stops himself and sighs. Then he looks at others. "I suppose we should follow him." To be dismissed as a figment of someone else's dream is a little irksome, but considering that they need to get moving, he thinks they've got no other choices. So, he starts running, following the other man, beckoning the rest to follow as well.

Gabrie isn't sure what to make of this. There are a lot of things that he doesn't know or understand here, like what the hell actually happened, for instance. Besides him, there are also others, though he knows none of them. He feels like he should've at least known at least one of them, but for now, everything feels blank, as if there are empty spots in his memories.

Shaking his head, he looks at the child who suggested that they should run. Then, he looks at another one, a pale lass, who told them that this is a dream. Gabrie is now even more confused than ever. Still, he doesn't allow himself to succumb in fear, he knows that he has faced things much more horrifying than this, even if he cannot remember it.

"What makes you think that, lass?" Gabrie inquires, directing his question to the pale woman who suggested that they are in a dream. He decides that keeping his cool is the right way to go, despite him not understanding whatever is happening to him and the others around him.

I'm all good for now, and ready to start anytime.

I'm fine with character death, however it will go. Of course, if there's enough fund and if other characters (and by extension, the players) don't mind, I'm totally on board with being raised from dead and resurrected.

Awesome! Looking forward to do stuff with you guys. Also, I'm in.

Well, Gabrie's starting wealth is good enough for now, though he ain't getting his longbow.

Since I can't edit my post, here's the updated version of Gabrie's background:

Spoiler:
In his youth, Gabrie had been serving the army, fighting other people's wars and battles. Upon his retirement, he got married to the love of his life and moved away to the countryside so that he could spend the rest of his life idyllically with his wife. He embraced the faith of the Old Deadeye, content to live his life in simplicity.

But his idyllic and simple life soon came to an end when his wife was abducted and possibly killed by some dark force, and Gabrie was overcome by grief and guilt for not being there for his wife, because he was away collecting woods when his wife went missing. For many nights, he spent his time praying to Erastil, hoping for guidance and strength.

Soon, Gabrie could feel something within him. He felt empowered, as if his prayers had been answered by the Old Deadeye. He could feel that he had been given a divine mandate to eradicate corruption in all its forms. But Gabrie was still grieving over the loss of his love, and grief could drive anyone to dark places.

Not that he could remember any of this, of course. Besides his name, there was nothing that he could recall. Still, he couldn't help but feel uneasiness about himself as well as inexplicable guilt, as if he had done something truly wrong. This feeling of uneasiness would certainly drive him to right the wrongs that he might have committed. Perhaps losing his memories was a blessing in disguise.

Not long after he was anointed with the divine blessing of Erastil, Gabrie was struck down by the dark force that he sought to destroy. The head trauma was enough to make him lose most of his recollections. However, despite the loss of his memories, divine blessing of the Old Deadeye remained, and while he might not remember his past, he still knew his name and the name of the love of his life.

This may be over simplifying but here goes;

Statement 1.
If a PC or Mon rolls a Natural 20, this by itself is now a critical hit.

Statement 2.
If a PC or Mon rolls 10 above the target AC, this is a critical hit.

Statement 3.
If a PC or Mon rolls a Natural 1, this is a critical fumble.

Statement 4.
If a PC or Mon rolls 10 below target AC, this is a critical fumble.

Presuming all the above Statements are correct what happens when a Natural roll(either 1 or 20) is also 10 away from target?

I'm just using combat as an example , but this could also apply to other types of Successes.

If a PC learns Sign Language, can he teach it to the rest of the party, without them having to burn a feat?

I was under the impression that precise shot negated the -4 modifier for cover thta your allies provide when in combat. I've heard differently, from a friend, who was at a con in a PFS game. He was told that Precise Shot negated the penalty for shooting into combat, but his allies provided cover so he was still at -4 to hit. This sounds strange. does that mean if you DON'T have Precise Shot that there is a -8 to hit?

I overheard a Venture Captain, running a mod, say that Precise Shot doesn't negate the cover provided by PC engaged in melee. I thought that was exactly what it did. Who is correct?

As I read the Water Walk spell it says
"Targets one creature touched/level"
"Duration 10 min/level(D)"

Whereas Water Walk, Communal says

" This spell functions as Water Walk, except you divide the Duration in 10 minute intervals among the creatures touched"

I would think that you would never take Water Walk,Communal spell as written for two reasons:

1. The duration is now actually REDUCED as compared to Water Walk.

2. The spell is 4th level as compared to Water Walks' 3rd level.

I welcome any other interpertations.
