My GM philosophy is player determination!
Players control PC's. GM controls Monsters, NPC and locations. Players control PC's actions including where PC's go and what they do. The game is about the choices that PC's make in a given situation. GM sees what the players do. How do the things he controls respond to it? I'm rooting for the players to do fun and cool things. The monsters want what they want. The NPC's want what they want. The locations are what they are. How are the PC's going to deal with it? I don't know. That is what makes it a game. That is what makes it fun.
