House Rules and Conventions for the game.
Character Creation:
6 players. 15-point buy. Average starting gold.
Start with 2 traits plus one campaign trait.
Any Paizo is material is allowed, but the closer you stay to the hardcovers the better. 3pp will likely not be allowed but will be judged on a case-by-case basis. The main thing is that the things you draw from outside material need to be things that you couldn't do with existing Paizo stuff. If you end up drawing a lot from 3pp material or fringe Paizo products your character has a lower chance of being accepted than a character who is core only, all other things being equal.
I don't mind re-skinning or re-theming things but you will need to consult with me first. Explain why you want to do it.
Make sure you have an idea as to what your character will do both in and out of combat. I don't want anyone who makes a character who has nothing to contribute in one of those two situations.
Make sure your character is good at something, and document how you figured out your stats for that. I don't mind people optimizing for things (you are heroes and should be good at what you specialize in) but I do want to be able to see how you did it.
Make sure you understand how your character's abilities work. If you don't know a lot about the game, play something you understand. If you have a lot of system mastery, consider playing a character class that is seen as "difficult," like a fighter, rogue, or monk.
Audit your character. Make sure you haven't given yourself any extra attribute points, skill ranks, or money. Show your work, so I know where your points are coming from. If it looks like I will have to police your character to make sure you aren't cheating (on purpose or not) then I will probably just reject your character.

Use links whenever possible, particularly for archetypes, spells, feats, and anything that might be a bit obscure. PRD is preferable but Archives of Nethys and pfsrd are both acceptable for non PRD material.
