Liberty's Edge

Hello again everyone, I am working on a backup character and am building Iceman from the x men, I think that the Winter Oracle is the best fit, however I know that out campaign will never see 20 for the final revelation which is both great mechanically but mostly for theme.
My question(s) are can you use craft wondrous to make a (x) slot item to mimic the robes of arcane heritage in granting the final revelation at 16? how much would this be? Spells needed?

Last as a thought exercise am I right in winter oracle or is this way off?

*posted in rules questions forum, not sure if it should be here or there*

Hi... My wizard just met a terrible end from the plane of positive energy thanks to a prismatic spray. So it's new char time. I recently have been reading the dwarves of golarion and want so badly to get to it. I also realized I HATE playing a wizard I understand they are the optimal casters but I'm a sorc kinda player. That being said I have the desire to build a ranged dwarf and need some help campaign specifics are below I am not opposed to any ideas just brainstorming really and I'm sick with stomach flu so the internet is my friend. Liberty's Edge

Hello all, I play with a small local gaming group and we have a few house rules as most do. Namely that large animal companions are left outside of caves, dungeons ect. Usually the scene in LoTR when they arrive at the mines of Moria and send the horses on there merry is pointed out. This can make finding a animal companion difficult and working though the optimization mind twisting so I searched and searched for a table that would break this down. However all I was able to find were key suggestions, and usually very good ones but they left out so many options to question. So I made a quick little spreadsheet detailing all available animal companions their source, and some brief details. All are assumed to be level 7 so all upgrades have been done. If a Animal would normally go to large size it was instead just kept at medium and give 2 to dex and con, as is detailed in the core rule book " Instead of taking the listed benefit at 4th or 7th level, you can instead choose to increase the companion's Dexterity and Constitution by 2". I still need to finish the shop-keeping to where the pets can be found but I think for the purpose of this it is a bit unremarkable. Let me know what you think or if you have some other animal companion tools I would love to hear about them

I am building my first PFS character and wonder, to play a Aasimar Oracle, later at 10 to be a mammoth rider what materials are needed. Do I really need to go purchase the Advanced race guide, Advanced players guide, paths of prestige, in addition to the core, bestiary, and PFS field guide? Can I just make photo copies of the rules areas or does being broke really limit you? Just not sure as first time and all.

New question I have a level 5 human sorcerer w/sylvan bloodline and a Bear AC. I took Boon Companion at level 3 and so my effective druid level is 5 I took craft wondrous item @ 5 and so I am going to create robes of arcane heritage. I need a little help knowing if my +4 level effect from the robes will apply to the AC, will it be lvl 5 Sorcerer with effective druid level of 5 or 9?

Hi I am taking leadership in a pathfinder game that has a homebrew cap at lvl 9 so with that my cohort will be 7, given that I am a rogue I would love to have a poison monkey I was thinking druid 3/alchemist 4. Boon companion feat and companion of a Megalania. The poison description it gives is rather vague so I am assuming it is as listed in bestiary only con based as most are. If so that makes it the most potent poison being the only one that requires 2 saves and targets dex which helps everyone in a fight. Using feats ability focus, and virulent poison (3.5, savage species){3.5 content has yet to be approved however if I can show rp reasons for it usually it will pass} the save dc with a +2 belt of con is 21, now 2 questions here. 1. build advice, is this the best build for a poison monkey and animal companion choice? 2. do con improving items or spells affect the poison dc's at time of extraction for refinement into weapon poisons?
The whole reason for this is a complete vacuum of poisons in pathfinder and the crazy price (my dm allows 1/16 creation cost if ingredients are "mined") or free if no modification is needed. If I could get a bank of poisons going it could help my deliciously evil plans to begin systematically assassinating all of the ruling family in my game world.
Any advice would be great I have already take what I can from the arsenic and lace guide...

Hi I am debating playing a detective bard or similar and then going ninja or rogue to get into the sap/knockout artist combos for a nonlethal detective/PI. I can use gear to accomplish much of the build however the one thing I will have difficulty overcoming is in the range of proof, even if you catch someone "red handed" you don't have proof without pictures or such, I was thinking about using arcane mark to make a image on to parchment but I may be stretching the limitations of the spell. With it as a 0 level could be really cheap "film" cost though any thoughts?...

So a bit of background my current gaming group has started essentially worshiping a deity that doesn't exist. It started with a bard with a ridiculous bluff skill and a major illusion of a large black dragon summoned by his kobold puppet( got to love the 100 personality roll). Any who the bard is now in the process of retiring his character as a ruler of a small Sherwood Forrest kind of place. His mission is now to send out his newest converted follower (new char) as a ambassador of the deity to spread the word. Now I know that in real life cults like these happen all the time but I believe there is some fun to be had here. possible the god begins to exist after all its the will of the few that shape the futures of many right? Basically he is attempting to start a new religion and I am at a loss and I know there are way to many way to mess/involve the characters. So I leave it to you all fine people to wield the power of suggestion and help to choose the fate of a world after all a CN god with the presence of a black dragon cant be all bad huh?

Hey all I am working on a Necro neutral cleric as a legion of undead summoner. Pathfinder only possibly some 3.5 just have to get dm approval. the ultimate magic guide, core, and apg are all no problem. So far all I have is
Lvl 10 Necro Cleric (undead lord archetype) - Death domain (undead sub)

2x bonus feats undead master, command undead
1,3,5,7,9 Versitile Channeler, Spell Focus (necro), spell focus (conjur), Augment summoning, Skeletal Summoner.
2xhuman bonus feats craft magic arms armor, create reliquary arms/armor

Wanting this build to be useful as possible and neutral one that doesn't see the evil in returning those who have died giving them a chance to fight again and earn honor of warriors death. I am up for any suggestions and changes (really u wont hurt my feelings) thanks to all in advance
