About Flingstyks
Flingstyks is a solid and stoic man that appears much wiser than his youth would suggest. His silvery hair, quiet demeanor and piercing gaze from his gray eyes give nothing in the way of knowing what to expect or what this Ranger is capable of.
Flingstyks was born Silas Darkmoon, the youngest of 5 brothers. The Darkmoons were a military family of Eagle Knights. Silas's older brothers joined the Cavaliers or Paladin Corps much like their father. Silas didn't like the regimented lifestyle, he much more identified with the animals and Fey within the nearby Verduran forest.
On Silas's 15th birthday, his father and he had an explosive argument about his future and lack of interest in the soldier's role that each of his brothers had chosen for themselves. Silas admired the Eagle Knights, so to avoid further disappointment from his family, he left home to live in the forest that he had come to love and understand.
Not long after surviving on his own, he tracked an injured man and upon finding him he rescued him from a bear attack. The man was eternally grateful and so impressed with his handling of a bow that he revealed himself as a Ranger of Andoran. It was then that he earned the nickname Flingstyks and forever changed his path.
