Hi guys. Long-time player, GM, and forum poster; first-time profile-maker. When building characters, I exploit the mechanics like an optimizer would, only not for power but for flavor. When building campaigns, I exploit the mechanics to enable my players' unorthodox character choices. I like goblins and gripplis; alchemists and ninjas. That's kind of my groove. Cheers!

I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in May 2012 with a major in rhetoric (focus: narrative & imagery) and a minor in creative writing. I also studied history, education, and philosophy. I am interested in teaching English/writing, that I might help people learn to better express themselves. I am also interested in how the internet might democratize education. While at Berkeley I co-ran a student-led class on open educational resources.
My three main nonacademic loves are Pathfinder, creative writing, and webstuff creation. I've been writing "novels" since I was nine. I've self-published some amount of writing on my own site. Website development came a bit later, but as a side-career bloomed faster. I taught myself the ropes in 2005 and since then I've done freelance work for chess clubs, modeling agencies, authors, and painters.
I'm currently unemployed, save three or four ongoing freelance web jobs, taking time away from school before returning to get a teaching credential. During this break, I hope to capitalize on my free time and do a lot of writing and a lot of RPG design work. :)
