I am starting a new regular D&D pbp, anyone who wants to join is welcome, total # of adventurers is 5, but you will be assisted along the way by many npcs. Starting level is 5, any class from the complete series or core books.
Here is the theme of the campaign:
In a far off dark land there rules a king named Tyranyus, he ruled a stretch of land known as Hellgate, at its center a palace called Hell Gate Keep. Hell Gate Keep was a fortress that guarded a portal to the infinate layers of the abyss, the demons surrounding the fortress were under the constant controll of King Tyranyus.
No one knows wheather Tyranyus was human or demon, or something far worse, but all anyone knew is that he was more powerful than any king in the realm.
Recently, Tyranyus has begun to expand his kingdom, spreading death and distruction wherever he goes. This has caused distress in many who live nearby, and a great and noble king nearby has amassed an army to hold the demons at bay for a time. But he knows his army will fall and that there is only one way to be able to keep up the fight... make a pact with the devils.
So the great king made such a pact, promising the souls of all of his soldiers and himself as long as the devils would fight until hellgate keep was destroyed.
On the other side of the world, a great seer has a vision that this plan will fail, and King Tyranyus will use a secret and deeply dark magic to banish all the devils, he then sees that the only way to stop this is to get to Tyranyus himself and kill him before he reaches the front lines.
He goes into the great city of Shrachun to find a team to do this deed, in this effort he finds you and 2 others, your duty... kill Tyranyus by any means possible, he gives you a map of the journey to a town just outside of the front lines, but the way there is trecherous, and in order to kill tyranyus the seer says you must go to the Druidic enclave to the south, find a magical rod of pure light and use it to weaken Tyranyus just before the killing blow or he will never die.

Yo, this is an alternate account of WillTrevOli, Im starting a new PbP campaign, PCs will explore a netherworld known as the remnant, searching for a long lost, but rumered to still be living, war hero, you will negotiate with local dignitaries, fight fellbeasts (a creation of my own) deal with a cult of evil archmages, and sneak through an enemies town, as wanted men/women, strugleing to find your comrades. This campaign is a lvl 1 campaign, I need 3 PCs, you will be accompanied by a cleric and a paladin, no evil PCs, healing is taken care of with the cleric, though a cure light wont hurt.
