Ah yes, 1e. Not usable for PFS2 organized play, I believe. But I don't think alchemical ammunition is limited to piercing ammunition in 2e. Still, it would be nice to be able to do piercing damage with a sling staff.

Just a friendly suggestion: Next time you need a 2e question answered, bring it up in a new thread rather than necromancing an old 1e thread. Also a good idea to specify which edition in the title.

Is there any mechanism for custom items in PFS2? Can they be crafted by PCs? Purchased from the 'open market'? Is a there a boon for this?

Specific idea I have in mind: I have a halfling cleric character who uses a halfling sling staff. I'd like to add the same kind of abilities that normal magical staves can have. e.g. A halfling sling staff of healing. I can see that one might not be possible, because the ends are specifically described. But some staves do not have specific descriptions for the ends.
