I have a kobold Dragon Disciple and will be taking the Breath of the Dragon feat. The character gains the Dragon Breath sorcerer bloodline spell and a focus pool of 1 Focus Point. The spell does 5d6 but increased if heightened (+1) so the damage increases by 2d6.

If my character gets access to this as a focus spell, is it able to be heightened to scale with the character as he levels? If so, how does that work? Or is it stuck at 5d6 damage at the cost of a focus point?

We are creating characters for the upcoming Abomination Vaults AP. I was thinking about playing a dwarven fighter that dual wields picks (pick and light pick). He's the iconic professional dungeoneer. The campaign will probably not continue past the three adventures so I'm trying to figure out the best build say from level one to ten. Anything specific that I should take? Any particular reason not go with ranger rather than fighter? What about the many options in the Advanced Player's Guide?

I am playing a kobold dragon disciple in our weekly 2e game and I am still getting used to the action economy of the new edition. I normally have competing options for my actions except for the reaction. Do clerics have any decent reaction options that I should be building towards? I feel that they are wasted on my character right now.

Sorry if this has been answered before but I searched and did not see a definitive answer. If you are able to use a reaction to block an incoming attack with a shield, is the damage roll known or unknown to the blocking player before he/she decides to block it?

New Pathfinder player here. I was thinking about playing a rogue or rogue/fighter similar to Bronn from Game of Thrones. Any thoughts on how best to approach this build? Straight class or multi-class?
