About Feesh Newleaf
Before there was a Feesh there was a halfling lass who ran with a gang. She was quick to kill, and quick to steal.
This made others in the gang jealous of her and one day in a raid at the docks she was shot and tossed into the river. She expected to die but awoke several days later in a goat pulled cart. Badly injured and as weak as a kitten she could do naught else but listen to the ramblings of the gnome who rescued her and called her fish in that strange way gnomes sometimes speak. This gnome called her Feesh as she pulled her in like a fish on her line. The gnome rambled on for days, as they journeyed, about the great Desna and how it was a miracle she caught Feesh. Eventually she was able to walk again and on the last day of that month by the gnomes reckoning they were to part ways. This gnome was only trying out the faith of Desna and would only decide on what faith to truly follow only after trying them all. So at the crossroads of many paths she gave the holy symbol of Desna to Feesh and set others down each path but the one they come from and one other. With a smile she stuck a stick in the ground and waited to see which way it would fall. She did tell Feesh that her way was simple, return the way they have come and seek death or take the other path left and start a new life and journey. Feesh took the left path and decided to try being less killer and more something else.
