Same here. Hoping for some high Fantasy game with some politics. But now many politics and I feel one trys to force game in steampunk way.

Please Keep as it is. Was good that way. Also first part of army Need not be 1000man. But 20, like 2 officers 8 underofficer and 10 regular. Build a core for army, who can Train rest. German army before ww2 was very small, but good trained. Those could Train enlisted men.

Asked my Boyfriend, he Played in big Group. 8 People. With the downtime rules and 2 It People who wrote programs for it. Still too much for GM now they Play diffrent AP because GM had burnout with the AP and work.
Also I am General. Not one soldier. But still not complain. Economy first. Then time for soldiers. Other way bankrupt. Simple rule!
