is the info about Trip Weapon Quality and Drag/Reposition ever going to be added to Errata for APG or the FAQ for the Trip Weapon Quality or something? nothing besides this blog post suggests the correlation between the Trip Weapon Quality and those maneuvers, certainly not the RAW of the maneuvers themselves or the Trip Weapon Quality.

Magic Missile is not usually a spell you'd heighten.

Lets change the example to "Burning Hands".
If you prepare this spell in a level 1 spell slot the Reflex DC = 10 (base) + 1 (spell level) + Spell_Casting_Stat_Mod.

If you prepare the same spell in a level 5 spell slot (not heightened) the Reflex save is: 10 (base) + 1 (spell level) + Spell_Casting_Stat_Mod. So no difference.

However if you prepare this spell Heightened to a level 5 spell slot (+4) then the Reflex save is: 10 (base) + 1 (spell level) + Spell_Casting_Stat_Mod + 4

So heightened means the spell is likely to do more damage. And as per the description of Heightened Magic feat... will also defeat a Lesser Globe of Invulnerability.

And as a sorcerer... casting any spell with a meta magic feat will take a full round action. But if you just cast a low level spell in a higher level slot it would only be a standard action.

Answer: No.

Those would be additional spell slots once you are able to cast a spell of that level.

Further: You do not need to use a metamagic to prepare a spell in a higher level slot. So you can prepare a Magic Missile in a level 5 spell slot. It functions identically to a Magic Missile in level 1 spell slot.

If you had a friend who stole your wallet one day. Then you discovered who it was. Would you accuse the rest of your friends for being wallet thieves too? The fact that you are considering on arbitrarily dispensing justice to every ogre based on the acts of a few isn't very Lawful.

You are going chaotic.

Now just killing every ogre for the sake of making the world a better and safer place I would deem to be evil. You should strive to at least be the better man and let be. Or if your are zealous enough to do a good deed how about doing missionary work and teaching the ogres right wrong?

As a Lawful Neutral character and ignoring any racial prejudices I personally wouldn't give a rats ass whether the next ogre lived or died. Hopefully they wouldn't tempt my blood-thirst.

Maybe the civilized world is encroaching upon the ogres and they happened to defend their territorial claims. Being good denizens of the world they follow a philosophy of "want-not waste-not". So they killed the intruders. Chewed on their bones. And made furniture of their victim's flesh. Druids everywhere would be so proud that not a single scrap was wasted.
