Brother Eliphaz arrives with Kukuha, and rushes to Jasariel's side. Healer's Gloves : 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (3, 2) + 7 = 12 And then props her up to carry her off for long-term treatment. Medicine, DC 20: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 9 + 1 = 25
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
As soon as the last boar falls, Brother Eliphaz comes out from hiding to administer to Jasariel. Healer's Gloves : 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (2, 4) + 7 = 13 And then moves on to Ukh and Farryn, leaving Dranald to tend to himself and Jasariel. Medicine, DC 20: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 9 + 1 = 20
Medicine, DC 20: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 9 + 1 = 23

Luke_Parry wrote: @Hannah: You didn't include the change to your AC in your avatar tag-line; I didn't know whether or not it was already accounted for. Okie dokie. I'll be sure to include an OOC comment anytime I cast Shield. The +1 AC isn't constant enough to update her header with it. Brother Eliphaz comes out from behind the battlements and tends to Hannah's wounds: Medicine, DC 20: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
He then grabs 2 of the 10 healing potions and administers them to her: 2d8 ⇒ (3, 5) = 8 ...leaving her at -4 (including the half damage from the first explosion)

Once we have more time, Eliphaz can also start treating the rest of the party. Wanted to get Hannah as full as possible first, since she's the frontline, and took the most damage.

Luke_Parry wrote: About an hour later During that time, Brother Eliphaz tends to Hannah's wounds. I'm going to experiment, here. Thorax had Assurance. Eliphaz does not. But he's an Expert 3 levels before Thorax will be. So I'm going to always roll him against the DC 20 and see how things compare. Medicine, DC 20: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Yeah that's almost double max compared to 2d8. I wonder if there's been any comparative studies done. Eliphaz could still Crit fail and actually hurt Hannah. Awww! Seems this scenario was built for Bair and Thorax =( As the caravan sets up, a blue-skinned and black-haired humanoid wearing monk's robes leads several porters to the caravan carrying a veritable feast! "Sister Hannah sends her regards. My name is Brother Eliphaz. I will be your attendant medic for this trip, should the need arise," he bows to Muckmuck as the porters set up kegs of ale, plates of pastries and containers of hot food. "The Sister is currently paying the tab, but thought that a proper meal would lift everyone's spirits! " –6sp for 20 square meals

What?? This lady makes you risk your multi-generational life because of her mistakes, and then has the audacity to ask fo- "Yes, of course, we'll help you."
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
Say... Where have you been during all this? I was expecting a cacophony of dialogue between you two. Nah, kid. I'm just enjoying the show. Wanted to see how you could fair under your own pressure. *twiTch* I don't know quite how to take that... "Lay down your weapon!" Intimidate: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
5 foot step towards Herman, move action pull wand (I could have sworn this character had a spring loaded wrist sheath), standard action zap. Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 49 charges remaining.
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
Oh! I see now. I was thinking of everything being separate. Thought you put +1 at the end instead of +2. Shall I assume that you'll eventually be getting an Agile Amulet of Mighty Fists?
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
Eliphaz casts Doom (Will DC 16) on the one that just dropped Lakadee. "You shall soon know what it feels like to be a felled tree yourself!"
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
"My apologies, Ayla. This may tingle a bit." Move to Ayla and touch her... Fist? Magic Weapon.
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
Eliphaz's fingers crackle with energy (cast magic weapon and hold the charge). "Remember, there is likely to be another still in hiding."
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
Diplomacy to Gather Information: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27 That unlocks the last spoiler! ^_^ "We should be on the lookout for a pair of assassins."

GM Livgin wrote: Diplomacy of knowledge (local) to find other buyers. Eliphaz lets the survivalists tend to the butchering and salvaging. Do I detect a little... squeamishness? I would say that's the understatement of the century, but you're older than that. Back in town, Eliphaz tries to see if they can find a better buyer. Diplomacy: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
I moved myself towards Herman, which put a five foot gap between myself and the spider, but now I'm adjacent again. Did the spider move during that round?
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
"May Aroden's guise as a Hunter inspire you." Eliphaz steps towards Herman and casts Guidance.
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
Eliphaz makes a quick jump next to Ayla (5 foot step) and... Concentration DC 15: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15 ...concentrates REALLY HARD to give her Guidance. It won't have been cast in time for your first poison save, but you can use it for any other d20 roll.
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
Sorry. Figured I was in back. Concentration DC 17: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
"Araneas!" (Ha! Latin for "Spiders" is the same word as another monster entirely) Eliphaz casts Bless.
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
Shoot him! SHOOT HIM! SHOOT HIM! With what, exactly? "We should let him go. He may bring back others, but we will be long gone by then, and it is the merciful thing to do."

(Hannah's Master Hireling)
"Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the Inner Sea!" Eliphaz casts Bless.
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
Kellids used to give me trouble, too. They will likely fall easily against your superior numbers. Eliphaz sighs.

Metallic disks DC 15 Appraise: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15 "These are Numerian 'silverdisks', a form of currency. All together worth around three hundred fifty gold."
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
Apologies again. Busy holiday. My other two PbPs had practically no activity, and this one took off again ^_^
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
"Take that gold back to the people he stole it from, and we won't pursue you."
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
Prepping for an AP run tonight; Eliphaz will move up and Daze the nearest threat when it's his turn (Will DC 15).
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
Eliphaz breaks into a sermon about how it was Aroden himself that rose the Starstone from the Inner Sea, far more of an accomplishment than Razmir has ever been accredited with. Kn.Religion: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
Aha! This would be the perfect opportunity to-... Not today! Eliphaz spins around, his oversized robes flapping wildly and his mitre nearly falling off as he does so, and when he stops he holds his Holy Symbol aloft. "BEHOLD! I shall show you the power of a TRUE god! Behold the blessings of Aroden!" Eliphaz casts Bless. "Even a dead god holds more sway than a false one! That man has DECEIVED you!" Diplomacy?: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
Eliphaz tucks away his holy symbol and continues with the group towards the sermon.
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
"There are only six of us that eat fruit. May I pay five copper for half a dozen?" Eliphaz turns to the group. "My treat!"
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
Huh. I could have sworn you could worship a Philosophy, but I can't find that you can after a quick search of the Additional Resources and Campaign Clarifications. I assume you'll be picking up the Green Faith membership vanity from the Pathfinder Society Field Guide? Janus Grey wrote: "The Green Faith respects the Land, and the great cycle of Life and Death." "I certainly understand something about cycles," Eliphaz chuckles, "I'm happy to have met you and Vina. No doubt this experience will resonate throughout my future lifetimes."
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
Before moving on to the next chapter... "What do you think this little Fey wanted? Of all my past lives, I cannot recall ever being involved with anything having to do with the Green Faith." After moving on to the next chapter... Diplomacy: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23 Hahahahahahahaha!! What's so funny? You, hahaha! You worship a dead god, and they worship a false god! Hahahaha!! Surely you see the humor in that? At least Aroden existed. And he could return! I have faith! I'm not doubting you do. That's what makes the similarity even more funny!
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
*doom!* DOOM! *doom!* Wait... Who are you?? Eliphaz casts Doom (Will DC 16) Did Eliphaz just cackle?
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
"Perhaps they are upset because we have trespassed? I hope they can be reasonable. If not..." Eliphaz moves behind Herman and enchants his longbow with a magical glow (magic weapon for 1 minute).
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
Would be hilarious if it was one of you. Eliphaz starts humming to himself quietly as he walks around the stones, lost in thought.
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
"Hic vos, Ayla. You can have mine." Eliphaz hands over a tin of trail rations. "Good job. I wonder what the significance of this is...?"
(Hannah's Master Hireling)
Kn.Religion: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 Darn. I don't get Channel Energy until next level. I got excited =( "That poor soul..." Eh, he was probably a jerk. Only angry spirits ge-... STOP IT!!
