The haunt must have been suppressing the Grim Lantern's aura, because as Mohag briefly banishes the haunt, Janus detects a faint aura buried under one of the standing stones.
It will take some work to get at the lantern, buried as it is under a pile of boulders.
DC 10 Strength check to retrieve the lantern.
Grim Lantern
Aura faint evocation; CL 1st
Slot none; Weight 2 lbs.
This macabre lantern is composed of a humanoid skull dangling from a short length of chain. A small fragment of soulstuff is trapped inside, burning slowly in a heatless flame. Its flickering light shines from the skull’s eye sockets, casting light as a bullseye lantern. On command, the lantern can consume its soulstuff in a sudden blast of heat, as burning hands. Doing so extinguishes the lantern. Whenever a living creature with at least 1 HD is slain within 30 feet of an empty grim lantern, the lantern absorbs a fragment of that creature’s soul, restoring its glow.
The magic grove and Erastil's magic has affected this lantern. It functions at CL 1st instead of it's normal 5th.

"We cannot determine its properties. But since it is intended that we give this to Ulisha, it hardly matters. We advise against lighting the lantern, whilst we are ignorant of its powers."

As you are inspecting the lantern, while Vina is reading the aura(remind me to come back to that later.); a disturbance comes from the east. A bird takes off flying low in the mist, then a fox runs past you, then two deer and a badger run past together. Looking back where they came from you see a the ghostly glowing from of a man approaching, except the man has a bear's head and it is not ghostly and glowing like his body. Behind the glowing ghostly bear headed man strides a tall elk obscured by the mist, pawing at the ground and snorting.

"What do you think this little Fey wanted? Of all my past lives, I cannot recall ever being involved with anything having to do with the Green Faith."
"Then it is perhaps fate that we met you. We are sworn to defend the Green. We are the Sword and the Shield of the Green. We end those who would bring harm to the Green. The Green Faith respects the Land, and the great cycle of Life and Death.
The Fey are the embodiment of the Green. This one, this Atomie, is likely a guardian of this holy place. It did not recognise us. We trespassed. It is good that you only stunned it, Ayla."
It's a weird consequence of PFS campaign rules that a Green Faith Marshal inquisitor still has to have a deity, so I chose one of the Eldest because the Eldest (along with iirc Erastil and Gozreh) are listed as being compatible with the Green Faith.
Eliphaz |
Huh. I could have sworn you could worship a Philosophy, but I can't find that you can after a quick search of the Additional Resources and Campaign Clarifications.

After a few days travel you arrive at Allenstead a few minutes before noon. The market is bustling with folk.
Allenstead consists of a few dozen buildings built along either side of a solitary dirt road that leads from Razmiran to a ferry dock on the West Sellen River. At the center of the village, construction is nearly complete on a large stone statue of a Razmiri priest that stands nearly 20 feet in height. The head of the statue peers down at a stage at the front of the town market.
As you enter a hawker calls out to you "Travelers here for Folloch's sermon! Try one of my apples, we can't have rumbling stomachs interrupting. Only one silver for a dozen!"
