I created a level 1 Human Paladin of the Silver Crusade faction. I am about to ding to level 2, and decided that i no longer want to play a paladin and that i no longer want to be in the silver crusade.

I have already earned chronicle sheets that list the silver crusade as my faction. According to Page 10 of the Guide to Organized Play, i am allowed to make complete changes to my character before i hit level 2 (block quote below). However my question is this:

What happens if my changed character has a different faction? Do i lose the prestige? Do i just pretend like the chronicle sheets said sczarni (or whatever) instead of silver crusade? I'm a bit confused. Thanks for any help!

Before you level up a character for the first time, you
may change any aspect of it except its Pathfinder Society
Number. Changes may only be made between adventures
and before playing as a character above 1st level. Any
exceptions will be noted in the Pathfinder Society FAQ.
You are able to keep all treasure, Prestige Points, special
boons, and XP that you have earned and apply them to the
character once you retrain as long as the character meets
the criteria above.

the FAQ ( http://paizo.com/pathfinderSociety/faq#v5748eaic9qy2 )says this: (it's not much help)

Does a first level character still lose their level times 3 in prestige points should they decide to change faction during rebuild?
No.

also - while we're on the subject....

was i allowed to play a pregen there? that is, am i always allowed to "proxy" my character for a more level appropriate one and then apply the credit to my character?

my friend believes that since we technically COULD have played our level 1 characters in the 1-7 scenario, then we shouldn't be allowed to apply the chronicle to them. But that doesn't seem right to me

on page 6:

"If you don’t have time to create a new character or simply
wish to try out a new character class, you may choose
to use one of several level-appropriate pregenerated
characters available at paizo.com/pathfindersociety or
from your local event coordinator. If you play a 1st-level
pregenerated character, you can apply the credit for her
first adventure to a newly created character of your very
own. If you play a non-1st-level pregenerated character,
you apply the credit to your character as soon as she
reaches the level of the pregenerated character played."

this doesnt really answer the question

Hello. I am very new to pathfinder (just discovered it and started last week), so i apologize for my ignorance.

Last night, i was involved in a scenario (1-7). All i had was a level 1 character, but the rest of the group was significantly higher. I decided to play a level 4 pregen to hopefully avoid death :)

We ended up playing it at tier 3-4. I received the chronicle sheet, and the rewards from tier 6-7 were crossed out (as they should have been). My GM told me that i could apply the sheet to my level 1 character, but that i'd have to reduce the amount of gold earned to 500.

My question is this: If i apply the sheet to a level 1 character, does that level 1 character have access to ALL of the "items found during this scenario" ? That is, could my level 1 character (theoretically) but one of the items listed in the tier 3-4 spot?

I have referenced page 53 of the "Guide to pathfinder society organized play" but all i get is this: "If the player is playing a non-1st level
pregenerated character, he may choose instead to apply this Chronicle sheet to a 1st-level character by reducing this value to 500 gp"

IT DOES NOT SAY WHETHER I HAVE ACCESS TO THE TIER 3-4 ITEMS I FOUND DURING THE SCENARIO

please help.
