Captain Teach watches all of this unfold before him. What kind of black magic is going on here? Why did I let these people on here? Who's going to die next? All these thoughts went through Edward's head in seconds. So much death around him, even poor Niles, as dumb as we was, he was still a good lad to have in a pinch. When it appeared that they were able to revive the one cad (Someone's going to get sick when they clean that., he thought), he had made up his mind.

"Alright, get him down below. Lock him in a cabin, I don't want me or anyone else getting what he ended up with. As for the other, we'll have to toss her over the side, there's nothing else for it. Will someone please give me a hand? It was not the first time (and probably not the last) that he had to do the task but it had to be done, and quick, before the stench of death covered everything. Teach starts to walk towards Shamil.

The captain comes up to the top deck, after making sure that his other sailors are ok. Lavinia, Elen, and Numair hear the captain tell Niles that he is glad that he is okay and that there is no need for him to take the last watch in the pilothouse tonight. Niles thanks him in return, looking slightly confused I don't think that Niles has realized that he was brought back from the dead.

Teach comes up to Ruul and the other prisoners as he drops Digory to the deck.

random 1: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
X1: 12 - 1d6 ⇒ 12 - (3) = 9
Y1: 8 - 1d6 ⇒ 8 - (4) = 4
Z1: 12 - 1d6 ⇒ 12 - (3) = 9

Looking to Ruul, the captain asks, "What have these miscreants said about being here?"

Looking over the slumped floor, Teach blows out a puff of air, faintly moving his whiskers. "Well, it looks like I don't need to worry about that.He looks the hall at the rest of you. "Any of you hurt?"

Will save 1d20 +4 < DC 22

Macavity appears next to the captain with his sword out finishing his exclamation. He says "Good evening, captain. We are not your enemies. I suspect that the three latest passengers are.

And quickly to the Azaraunt, "Wizard, now the only person topside is the sailor in the pilothouse. No one is protecting him or watching the top of the stairs. If all three of the new passengers are threats, certainly the captain and the seven of our group are plenty to overcome them.

Macavity readies a Vanishing Trick, in case the captain attacks him.

As Azaruant looks around the room, the Captain looks at you, trying to size you up. He knows that there is at least one foe planted outside his door and he can see down the hall where there is more.

"Well then, the sailor will take care of himself. Let's take care of these traitorous dastards!" Free action, 2nd round.

"What?! Not on my ship." A moment later, Captain Teach opens the door to his cabin, just after the violin player screams out his epitaph. He returns the greeting: "By my black beard, the only people dying tonight will be by my hand!"

"That sounds delicious ma'am, I only wish that we could get those kinds of ingredients on a consistent basis. If that were the case, I would have the cook try to make it sometime." With a swipe of his napkin across his face and moustache, Captain Teach stands and dismisses himself from the table. "I am going to retire for the night. Niles, you have the watch for the night. Please make sure that I am awakened about 30 minutes before we dock at Urion. That should be just before sunrise. Good night, everyone."

The captain does in fact join everyone in the mess, although it is tight to do so at this point, who answers to the name Edward, you don't need to call him captain, unless you choose to. He is a stout man of late middle age, human, with greyish-silver hair. You can easily tell he is not a man for small talk, but he forces himself to do so anyway for his guests. He talks about the beauty of some of the towns along the southern bank of the river, especially at this time of year as things begin to warm.

For Gundrun, the captain has little to say on the subject, except that the barbarians who run the place (his words) tend to keep to themselves these days. Little activity comes into or out of there, for the most part.

If you wish to ask the captain specific questions, he may or may not answer without a skill roll, depending on the topic.
