Shi'vatha! It's been ages, my friend!

Drat, I thought there was more time too or I would've finished up. Oh well. Good luck everyone!

I'm not on the list. Geokineticist front liner.

Got my base started at least. Still need to finish up the Ten Minute Background.

See ya later.

Im just going to wait. It would be bad if I tried to help. XD

I've tried Roll20, but on my iPad i can't seem to do anything on it. :(

Still around. :)

Echane will follow her fellow unit's example as best she can.

Hi guys. :)

On one of his ten-minute breaks, Locke heads out and begins voraciously eating his delicious stew. Upon noticing Echane, he gives a nod and says "Hail, Echane," then continues eating his stew.

"Like the weather? I did not expect it to get that cold today." She replies, sitting nearby.

Perception #1: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
Perception #2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Echane, curious about the newcomer and his animal friend, follows Locke at a respectful distance to observe him. When he goes to the inn she finds a good sample group to compare against him, and finds the locals a bit less.. courteous than Locke. She would have to ask him why he was different later on when he wasn't busy. if that time ever came.

Echane sits in her chair sipping at her ale very slowly, trying to decide if she likes it or not. She couldn't remember ever having anything like it before.

"You are going to ask for our assistance." She predicts, looking up at the priestess. "This unit will help freely."

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

I never seem to do very well, do i?

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

Echane finds her programming leaving her slightly preoccupied as it runs diagnostics.

A belated safe trip!

"That seems to be a fairly good idea, as long as we remember where it's buried and no one else finds it."

??? Does 'Star Voter' mean what I think it means?

It means I voted fifty times in the last RPG superstar.

An unevolved manticore? How strange...

Seems I missed so e stuff in my campaigns tab...

Hey, I get to read a spoiler! XD

"Get down." She tells the cub, crouching and keeping a hand on it in the hopes it stays. "Those humanoids are too dangerous for us right now."

Stealth: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21

Ethane will pet the cub' snack, hoping he will calm down and stay here instead of moving out of the cave's safety.

"They were scared of your parents before, young one. Now that fear has turned. I will help the others keep you safe though."
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Echane sits just inside the cave, watching and listening to the world. It had been a few days since she'd last done this, and found it relaxing.

And then there's my healing effect word.

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
For us spellcasters, without at least 8 hours we can't refresh our spells in the morning. Not a bad thing if we haven't cast any, but still.

Something wasn't adding up for Echane, and until it did she would remain quiet and observe. But what could she see? A manticore, it's mate, and their child had been the initial cause of the deaths, but.. why?

"Do not get to close if you can help it." something about thus was not quite right... "I think there is more to what's happening than there first appears."

"Are they a mated pair and a young unit perhaps? That might be why they are attacking, to feed the young one so it may grow."

Im ready as well.

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

"Should we move closer to it? It might be hunting a person."

You probably mixed them up with crossbow bolts. :)

"Should Shi'Vatha be going alone?" Echane asks the others.

I'm loving the ACG so far, and given reports to another GM as I read through it. Everything seems pretty balanced(except for some exploits that are way to strong and the seemingly weak brawler). Gonna read Swashbuckler and Warpriest today. :)

Echane sits nearby, listening and thinking. Manticore and missing people... this was a strange game the gods had decided to play.

"Whatever it is, leg us hope it is not in the direction we're going."

"But only the pawns. No knight advances to rook, or bishop to queen. So, if the gods are playing chess we must determine what pieces we are, yes?"

"So am I to believe it is being said that Corian is getting a new program to follow, but it's his choice wether he does or not?"

I sleep and suddenly there's 17 posts. XD
Knowledge(Local): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

"The gods seem most.. interested in our group, do they not? Is this normal for varied groups?"

Echane stays back a bit and simply observes, trying to figure the connections between people, if there are any at all.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

After a few moments of silent reading, Echane rolls the scroll up and hands it back."These are.. orders. For the orcs, I think. It says 'Make sure that the pass to Farihill is empty of men and wagon. We do not want men keeping us from our plans. N.'"

Corian Smither wrote:

"Sure, although I'm not sure how much sense you can make of this...scribble." He hands the paper over to Echane.

What do you have in mind?

"Well, if I'm correct and this is written in the Orc tongue, I know a spell that will let me read it as if it were in Common."

Taking a moment to look at the writing, Echane nods to herself and casts her spell.
Echane casts the wordspell Decipher(link here), picking Orc and hoping it's the right language.

"Excuse me, Corian? May I see the scroll? I have something that might allow me to read it."

Common and Draconic

As I joined the game late am I still level 1?

"I do not believe the orcs would wish to 'play' overly much. At least not in the convention sense, correct?"
