History:
I don't know much of my origins. I vaguely remember that my family and I were part of a tribe or village of Elves. Truly I no longer even remember my parents names or our family name if we had one. I believe some sort of tragedy befell my people, but I have no memory of it until the moment when the Circus caravan came upon me on that lonely road. I am told my clothes were torn and scorched, and I had wounds that suggested that somehow, at the age of eighteen, I had fought off one or more attackers. Zarzuket and Neji saw my condition and took me in. They were a husband and wife team who had their own show. They raised me as their son. Thus I really do think of myself as a gnome. My gnome father, Zarzuket, and my gnome mother,Neji, were very passionate and loved me deeply. I learned many of my skills through the circus and performed as an acrobat, juggler, knife thrower and escape artist. Zarzuket taught me the skill and love of gambling. During my time there a duergar blacksmith named Khun-duhn joined the circus. Over time he became close not only to me but my parents as well. He is a dear friend. He forged my four daggers. When he left us it was a sad parting. His last gift to me was a custom forged left handed rapier.
Neji (at the age of 348) and Zarzuket (at the age of 422) died on the same day three hours apart. I stayed barely a week to say goodbye and resolve my affairs with the circus. Before leaving I dispersed most of my parents possessions keeping little for myself. Among what I kept were my father's dice and deck of cards, the purple sling my mother had made me and an earring she gave me as well. I also took with me, of course, the weapons Khun-duhn had forged for me years before. The day I left was exactly five years ago. Since then I have traveled far and applied my skills to various tasks. Whenever possible I use my skill at gambling professionally, but I certainly enjoy exercising others skills as well.
I had heard that Riddlesport was a city full of scoundrels, gamblers and theives and was a dangerous place to visit. Meaning, of course, it is my kind of town. I was certain my skills would be lucrative there. Upon arriving in Riddlesport, I heard of the gambling tournament at the Gold Goblin. I expect to win the tournament, but should I not, I am certain its owner, Saul Vancaskerkin, will have need of my skills.
Appearence:
I am quite tall for a gnome. I tend to wear brown and green except for a shiny purple bandana I wear around my nexk to honor my gnome parents. I wear my Dark hair long and my beard neat and well trimmed.
