Druna daughter of Duraic and Runa (granddaughter of Kilo and Duria, of the line of Konor Cleftcrown of the Clan Torkrest) was part of a noble's warband. But when that noble, Bifur son of Bimir, was slain by Orcs in an ambush, Druna found herself one of a handful of survivors. Rather than return to her home stronghold of Glimnirdal empty-handed, she decided to strike out into the world to accomplish something of note.
Now she seeks out an opportunity to earn fame and fortune in the sunlit lands, with an emphasis on the latter. It's not entirely clear what she would be willing to do for gold, but she doesn't conceal the fact that it's the most important thing in the world to her.
Druna is enjoying her discovery of the world outside of the stronghold. All she has ever known is the Dwarven way, and she is fascinated by others, though she has yet to shed her prejudices. She is quietly superstitious, finding folk charms, protective totems, holy symbols of varying (and sometimes conflicting) faiths and other trinkets to be of especial interest. She has a tendency to believe every rumor she hears.
