Male Human Bard 2

But i would probably have cut some throats by now for the good of society.

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

I will be in jury duty today so unable to post until this evening.

Male Human Bard 2

GM + Tristain:
Hanging around the safe house with Tristain.

Domino will happily try to duel with Tristain, though it is obvious that his combat technique is not efficient, as if he was trained more for the show of it.

Combat Round 1.
Standard Action - Feint (Bluff) 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14

Feint: You can use Bluff to feint in combat, causing your opponent to be denied his Dexterity bonus to his AC against your next attack. The DC of this check is equal to 10 + your opponent's base attack bonus + your opponent's Wisdom modifier. If your opponent is trained in Sense Motive, the DC is instead equal to 10 + your opponent's Sense Motive bonus, if higher. For more information on feinting in combat, see Combat.

Combat Round 2.
Standard Action - Attack with Short Sword 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22

Chatting and comparing purchases with Tristain at the safe house.

Yes some light, especially hands free would be helpful...thats why I bought this Ioun Torch (Continual Flame Wiz lvl 2)

You were curious as to my earlier request, back when you first took notice of me...about the acid. Since we are in this all together and after what we have done, technically dead men, I must share my secret with someone. I am a Scion of House Phandros, my great-uncle Marcus is the head of our noble family. Why he saved my life I doubt I'll ever know, but I am a shame to them because of my mother's crime. Sometimes after performances, my true identity has been discovered and the family gains a little more fame and prestige...simply by my actions. I swear that the good we do here, will have no benefit for the family that provides none for me...THAT is why I want my features destroyed.

Other useful things I purchased...alchemist fire, some more acid, holy water, potions of healing, one as a restorative potion as well.

Talking about the plan

So do we really have much of a plan yet, really? Beyond lets get into the mayors house, snoop around until we find this vault, get into it, get out with what we want and THEN still get out of the mayors house? Not too much of a plan...need a little bit more of a how to do that...

Potion of Disguise Self

Disguise Self is not a valid spell to use as a potion as it has a range of Personal. Disguise Other could work but is 2nd lvl, found in Ultimate Magic.

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

Jimmy hears a new voice, a quiet whispering voice like heard at the bottom of a grave. The Pathinders have a special place they visit...a museum...with mists and monkeys...and darkness....and voices, yes voices in the void. A place they are made to go for a family....the Blakros's....

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

I will send a revision tomorrow with purchases.

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

Domino will carry the potion of disguise for party use....it can be handy.

Domino has a good disguise check already and a disguise kit but those take more time.

Keep the potion for if he needs back up on infiltration.

Once you reach the safehouse, you're level 3.

Just verifying before anything happens.

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

Btw, are we leveled or not yet?

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

I would suggest a paid messenger, delivering the head of Palaveen, the "coins", and a letter denoting the aims and goals of the kNights Bane, delivered to the Dotarri who would be most sympathetic in Ezrens estimation.

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

Regardless Domino will not go inside, however he will stash his mask and resume his Corey persona.

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

Jimmy is crazed, demented, psychotic maybe..
.but not evil. Just a simple minded brute.

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

Aiding in with Tristain...

You understand why Jimmy wanted to come here, right? To make amends. To return this mans stolen property. That shouting started on Jimmy's entrance, I'd really only be concerned when the screaming stops and silence sets in...

Domino pauses.
Under Chelish law you are already as guilty as Jimmy just through association. The only reward you may get for turning him in, is a swifter maybe slightly less painful death.

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

Well thats nice....now our allies are going to help get Jimmy arrested. Who are we going to help and are you wearing your mask? This is why i didnt want to stop.

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

At this time Domino would prefer to return straight to the temple to change and clean himself up. Returning to his alternate persona.

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

I suggest we return it to the rightful owners....but use an intermediary since we dont really want these activities really becoming public knowledge. Perhaps Ariel has a suggestion?

Looking at Tristain and Ezren Although perhaps someone can be brought back away from Asmodeous and let us use a stable again...

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

Domino will help Tristain open the chest (as they have been productively redistributing wealth from the nonliving to the living)...

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

Oh for a hot bath and some aloe....a good long soak would be nice too...

ive felt better, perhaps my heroic sacrifice of catching fire helped inspire our success? dryly speaking If so then i think i need to change my methods...Or hire some half orc bodyguards...

Potion spellcraft 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14

Wand spellcraft 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11

Morningstar spellcraft 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Breastplate spellcraft 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11

Im not sure about these right now...let me think and check again in the morning. I could guess, but thats all it would be.

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

Domino will assist Tristain in searching, using detect magic and spell craft on any interesting items.

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

The Fire! It burns....why does it hurt to move? Blood, i taste blood...whats happening? he opens his eyes in time to see Jimmys slaughter...That could have been done with a bit more finesse...only that girl seems shocked...perhaps its for the best. It can be good to be feared...

Sitting up.

Did we get them all? All the Basterds are dead? Thank you for saving me.

I tried to get Domino back in the game, but to no avail. If Ezren makes room Jimmy can move up to Palaveen without receiving an AoO. Either way Jimmy's attacking Palaveen next round.

The healing is appreciated regardless...

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

In the quiet you can hear the *drip* *drip* * drip* of blood dripping from mouth.

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

Domino currently has 2 vials in his bandolier...one of which is a vial of acid that he had pointed out to Tristain earlier the other is a cure potion.

Does Tristain remember the acid in the darkness?

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

Zzzzzzzz

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

Im going in for jury duty today so i will not be posting.

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

Dying: A dying creature is unconscious and near death. Creatures that have negative hit points and have not stabilized are dying. A dying creature can take no actions. On the character's next turn, after being reduced to negative hit points (but not dead), and on all subsequent turns, the character must make a DC 10 Constitution check to become stable. The character takes a penalty on this roll equal to his negative hit point total. A character that is stable does not need to make this check. A natural 20 on this check is an automatic success. If the character fails this check, he loses 1 hit point. If a dying creature has an amount of negative hit points equal to its Constitution score, it dies.

Stabilize 1d20 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 1 - 2 = 14 vs DC 10

Stable at -2 HP

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

Hey, Jimmy found more tieflings and darkness!

Continuing to delay.

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

Domino delays

Dark Archive

So we do still have enemies barricaded beyond the door...

Pointing at the secret door...Hey guys what is this? Where might it go?

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

Ok, that works too.... Domino glances around......time to take some heads i think...and don't we have some more to take care of beyond that door?

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

Hiding behind Jimmy Domino will cast Ghost Sound again to create the sound of armored individuals coming down the hall from around the bend and out of sight (faint as if at a distance).

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

Tristain your call, he should know due to magic you passed your save so you can still choose to follow his directions in a sign of good faith...

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

Domino will begin a Bardic Performance (Countersong)

GM:
Since Charm Person is language dependant

Countersong (Su): At 1st level, a bard learns to counter magic effects that depend on sound (but not spells that have verbal components). Each round of the countersong he makes a Perform (keyboard, percussion, wind, string, or sing) skill check. Any creature within 30 feet of the bard (including the bard himself) that is affected by a sonic or language-dependent magical attack may use the bard's Perform check result in place of its saving throw if, after the saving throw is rolled, the Perform check result proves to be higher. If a creature within range of the countersong is already under the effect of a noninstantaneous sonic or language-dependent magical attack, it gains another saving throw against the effect each round it hears the countersong, but it must use the bard's Perform skill check result for the save. Countersong does not work on effects that don't allow saves. Countersong relies on audible components.Bard

SA: Perform (Oratory) 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
Of course the glory of Mammon will out-darken the majesty of calculating Asmodeous and those foolish Hellknights will not know what shall destroy them when faced by a living horror, I mean un-living horror

Swift Action: Bluff to pass secret message to the party DC 15:
Bluff 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27 "The mummy isn't undead! It too is a fake."
such as this which stands before us...

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

Knowledge (religion) 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

Mummy? as in King Rootin' Tootin' Mummy? Gulp

infernal:
Through the door at the end of the hall...
Domino points back...

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

Jimmy WAIT! Let him through.

infernal:
Down the hall, we jammed the door to keep them on the far side...we only want to flee...they don't care who they kill: tieflings; humans; gnomes...they broke a companion's neck and threw him down a set of stairs...

Ez and Trist, Do NOT ATTACK. Show him the door that we blocked the Hellknights behind.

(Continuing if needed)
Bluff 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (16) + 12 = 28

Dark Archive

Male Human Bard 2

Sense Motive 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

He just wants to kill the Hellknights! Let him through!

infernal:
They are in the locked chamber past us, let us go and they are yours. The power of Erebrus, your power is too great for us.
Bluff 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21
