About Dolok the Shield

Dolok appears as a well muscled and tanned human male with long black hair and piercing steel blue eyes. Basically think of a northern Tarzan to be more precise. He insists on wearing a great deal of his furred clothing even in the southern lands. His exposed flesh on his arms and parts of his chest are covered with a pattern of brands and scarification. Those in the know for the north people of the mammoth lords will recognize them as rites of passage marks for a warrior, in particular to a certain tribe called the slothjaw.

His kind is a rarity among the crusaders and he is new to them as well, having just recently moved to the southern lands to support the fight against the demonic invasions pushing his people further and further out of there tribal lands. He does not yet know it, but another issue may arise, the kin bounding of prisoners which is common to the mammoth lords, may not be viewed lightly by many of the different cultures on that front. To his people there are no prisons, there is only death or bonding.

Being a follower of the iron lord is another rarity among the crusaders, whom mostly seem to worship Iomedae or Sarenrae. He neither cares or pays much attention, since he does not understand either religion... Strength and Honor... minus the for the horde bit.
