Deeds:-

*Deadeye (Ex): At 1st level, the gunslinger can resolve an attack against touch AC instead of normal AC when firing beyond her firearm’s first range increment. Performing this deed costs 1 grit point per range increment beyond the first. The gunslinger still takes the –2 penalty on attack rolls for each range increment beyond the first when she performs this deed.

*Gunslinger’s Dodge (Ex): At 1st level, the gunslinger gains an uncanny knack for getting out of the way of ranged attacks. When a ranged attack is made against the gunslinger, she can spend 1 grit point to move 5 feet as an immediate action; doing so grants the gunslinger a +2 bonus to AC against the triggering attack. This movement is not a 5-foot step, and provokes attacks of opportunity. Alternatively, the gunslinger can drop prone to gain a +4 bonus to AC against the triggering attack. The gunslinger can only perform this deed while wearing medium or light armor, and while carrying no more than a light load.

*Quick Clear (Ex): At 1st level, as a standard action, the gunslinger can remove the broken condition from a single firearm she is currently wielding, as long as that condition was gained by a firearm misfire. The gunslinger must have at least 1 grit point to perform this deed. Alternatively, if the gunslinger spends 1 grit point to perform this deed, she can perform quick clear as a move-equivalent action instead of a standard action.

Gun training: a gunslinger can select one specific type of firearm (such as an axe musket, blunderbuss, musket, or pistol). She gains a bonus equal to her Dexterity modifier on damage rolls when firing that type of firearm. Furthermore, when she misfires with that type of firearm, the misfire value of that firearm increases by 2 instead of 4. 

Slow and steady: Dwarves have a base speed of 20 feet, but their speed is never modified by armor or encumbrance.

Defensive Training: Dwarves gain a +4 dodge bonus to AC against monsters of the giant subtype.

Hardy: Dwarves gain a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against poison, spells, and spell like abilities.

Stability: Dwarves gain a +4 racial bonus to their CMD when resisting a bull rush or trip attempt while standing on the ground.

Greed: Dwarves gain a +2 racial bonus on Appraise checks made to determine the price of non-magical goods that contain precious metals or gemstones.

Stonecunning: Dwarves gain a +2 bonus on Perception checks to notice unusual stonework, such as traps and hidden doors located in stone walls or floors. They receive a check to notice such features whenever they pass within 10 feet of them, whether or not they are actively looking.

Hatred: Dwarves gain a +1 racial bonus on attack rolls against humanoid creatures of the orc and goblinoid subtypes because of their special training against these hated foes.

Background:

So. The day the nation, Nova Roma, wrested
Self-rule, signed, recorded - that day also, Dolgren was born.
New nation and dwarf Dolgren, twins: Torag's
Will, the dwarves decided, was made manifest -
An envoy role to the race of men.

A new nation, Nova Roma reveres not
Fine words but works, forged with fire; and fighters.
Dolgren valued vigor and virtue likewise: let lesser
Races revel in spurious speech and shameful squalor;
Deeds are dwarven currency, and clearly
Nova Roma's also, he deemed.

As dwarf measured man, so too did men
Assess their ally: fast friendships formed, oaths
Solemnly sworn. When war wracked the nation Nova Roma, the
Turmoil troubled Dolgren: though lacking love for
Goblinoids, and greatly wary of the wisdom in granting legal
Status, still he sided against secessionists: oathbreaking
Rebellious rabble, dividing to rule - not dwarven, Dolgren decided.

Of Dolgren's deeds in war and battle honours won,
Of how at the Berg that men call Gettys, amid
Furious fusillade of shot and shell, he stood,
Calm, clearheaded, a rock that broke the rebels,
We need not relate: he made his mark, suffice to say.

The aftermath, where daring deeds in extremity
Of peril performed, were needed no longer, daunted Dolgren:
A fearless fighter, but for calm unfit and unsuited.
Hearing news of humans' new venture northwards,
Adversity and adventure sought in equal measure,
Did Dolgren gratefully accept commission of General Conroy.

A little over four score and ten years of age, Dolgren is in his prime: a full beard unstreaked with grey; clear, far-seeing brown eyes; ruddy cheeks and hale complexion - but not the ample bulk of a typical dwarf; clearly active, he is (by dwarf standards) wiry and has surprisingly fast reflexes, as some have learned too late. At an age when most dwarves would be seeking to settle down, Dolgren is pitting his boundless energy and hardy nature against the elements and hostile natives of the Stolen Lands.

Dolgren makes a point of dressing well: his riveted leather jacket and fur cloak are unmistakably of dwarf make, and old. So too are his rifle and revolver; obviously a matched set, their barrels are chased in brass, the wooden stock etched with dwarf runes.

In speech, Dolgren is courteous, but slow: his archaic speech patterns are at distinct odds with the rough frontier talk that he encounters. If the English he learned was suitable for his ancestors, it will do for him, he reasons. If there is time, Dolgren prefers to deliver his thoughts over a cup of coffee, a drink he has acquired a taste for in his time spent among humans. He rarely travels without his coffee pot.

Like most dwarves, Dolgren does not ride; he is however almost invariably accompanied by his mule, Manassa; he cut her loose from a wrecked gun-carriage at the battle of the same name and adopted her; or she adopted him, it is not always clear. She does the heavy lifting that enables Dolgren to carry a lighter (combat-ready) load; on this journey in the frozen plains, that slim extra advantage can be the difference between life and death.
