About Dolce Elizabeth Antoinette
Dolce is a young Taldan woman fresh from the theatre district in Oppara. Her promising acting skills earned her high praise until she was undone by her two-faced, cruel nature when she was not chosen for the lead role in the new drama "Queen of Harlots". In a fit of jealosy she spread venomous rumors about the director and succeeded in ruining the man's reputation--and at the same time found herself blacklisted as a spiteful and unstable actress. Unable to find work in her chosen field, Dolce's expensive customs soon depleted her finances. Her desperation for wealth and recognition drove her into the court intrigues in Oppara, where she was used as a pawn by a series of petty nobles. Stung by the bitter lessons she learned at court, Dolce decided to look for greener pastures and a fresh start in theatre. Playwrights from the City at the Center of the World, Absalom, had begun to gain reknown in the jaded circles of Opparan theatre. Perhaps redemption lay in Absalom?
