Boom comes over the comms and says "I knew I should have rigged those ship doors for demolition! Did you see anywhere that the laser turret control might be? I can head there and try to shoot her while Cable and Orion get the officer to the low berths. Yous should probaly try and get them ready for them."
Male Human AACBC6
Boom smiles when asked if he can blow the door and says "I've blown up a few things. I'll rig some explosives so I just place them and then blow them. Just remember if it's pressurized you'll need to give it a minute to decompress, you don't want blown off the rock by the atmosphere leaving." When the meeting ends he then goes and prepares the explosives. Explosives Edu: 2d6 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (6, 5) + 2 + 2 = 15

Boom gets to the outside of the wrecked ships air lock and looks at it in dismay. Studying it for a moment he sees it isn't much more worse off then some of the doors he has delt with in some salvage work and opens the door without having to blow it off. He says over comms "Door is open. I didn't even have to blow it." There is disappointment in his voice with the second sentence. Vacc Edu: 2d6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (6, 3) + 1 + 2 = 12

I will say I was getting alittle confused what was going on myself. Though in the end I think I understood. Most of the confusion had to do with posts out of order and time traveling and retconning. I think with Adebe gone that is going to fix a lot of my issues. I like my games to move but not at the expense of comprehension. I am with Cable here I like cool. It doesn't matter to me how it works. It's a game and it's all magic. It works however the GM says.

Boom stands up when the officer asks to see the pod. He takes him in there. When he asks about the transponder he says "I believe the engineer has it if it is not in the pod. He was looking into it. Hold on." When Two Fingers comes over the comms he nods. He says to the officer "Yes he does have it and once it is activated the pirates will know they are being looked for. I'll take you to engineering if you are done here or when you are ready."

Seeing Cable with blood on his hand, Boom steps forward everywary and look at the woman and pod. He says "From that tag she is from Winners Traite Hall 4. We need to let the authorities know." Boom takes a really good look at her face to see if she is the pirate queen. Investigate Int: 2d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (5, 5) + 1 + 1 = 12

Upon hearing all this Boom shakes his head "I don't like this but this is an opportunity. We can't just leave someone in a non functioning pod, but there is a good chance this is the pirate. Does that other ship have a transponder going? If not it may be her ride. I can go out and get the pod if that is what we want. If we break stealth we need to send a message quickly to the authorities of what we found and where and the other ship in case this goes badly. I don't think we have a good way to lock her up so we are just going to have to tie her up unless there are handcuffs somewhere. I'll suit up. Cable and Two-Fingers meet me armed in the hold once it repressurizes. Abebe will need to get us going quickly once I am on board. Sound good?" Half under his breath he says "I really need to learn to operate those sensors so Abebe can pilot, Cable navigate and Two-Fingers work the systems."

Fixed. I posted what I was wanted to do and was waiting for an OK. Uhura doesn't blow things up. I am not a red shirt. Too easy to see. More like a dark grey shirt.

No, not Uhura. I'm the sneaky "not thief" that no one ever sees but was in all the episodes.

My 2 cents on Artificial Gravity. I don't mind it and I think it makes things easier. That said, Panic doesn't like it and it's his game so I am good with it the way he wants. Just like I don't worry about how my wizards spells work I don't worry about how the tech works in Sci Fi. This isn't a simulation. Now just for arguments sake I can come up with two ways AG would work but not be used as a weapon. 1: It is just devastating. You start using AG weapons and the universe starts falling apart and there are no winners as nothing is left. Black holes, holes in reality, moving and growing space obstacles. Everyone decided long ago just not to go down that road. It does leave a option for terrorists or evil groups to use. 2: It is just not economic. The energy required increases as a square or cube of distance so you can do AG on the deck or engine or surface of a ship but the energy needed to reach out is just too high and impracticable. If you have hyper-drive or warp drive or whatever Artificial Gravity just isn't a leap to me.

Boom sighs and shakes his head, Always with the negative waves Abebe. Boom then smiles and says Always look on the bright side of life Abebe!" He whistles a little tune and then continues "We are on our own. In an awesome Aslan scout ship. We'll figure it out. Now I can string together a route but that map means nothing to me. If I knew what was in each system I might be able to help plot a profitable route. We don't have to take the shortest route as that might not be profitable. While we don't have credits we do have 15 tons of silver and titanium. Mostly titanium."

I have no world knowledge of the Traveller universe and based on where we are raised I don't think our characters would either. Part of the enjoyment of the Traveller world for me is that it is all unknown. I can't read that map. I could string together a way to go though. Someone with nav could possibly give the details of the systems but I doubt that is going to extend to customs, politics and views. Besides we don't know if the GM left the world as the map is. Our system is definitely different. This may just be a map.

Boom chimes in over the internal comms, "Do it! Abebe change course as much as practical once we are in stealth mode. We don't want them to be able to predict our course. Might not be a bad idea to change again in a hour or so before we head for where we need to go. Can we track them without giving away our position?"

Boom listens to the sheriff and replies "Pull the guards if you haven't already please. Maker's peace to you all." He then looks at Abebe and says "Don't show them everything this ship can do. If we way outpace them don't show them that. We need to disappear without ever revealing the total capabilities of the ship unless absolutely necessary. We are trying to avoid Imperial entanglements. Fly casual." Boom then goes and finds someplace to sit.

As Cable talks to She that Flys Boom moves to his comms and calls his Dad "Dad I was right last night and this morning. That nest is buzzing. Love you all." He then looks to the others and says "If they are on the right channel and have to power to pick that up they are welcome to listen because that has no meaning to them. They are going to know we saw them when we skedaddle outta here. Abebe get in that pilot's seat and get us moving but not toward that jump point yet. She that Fly's just how hard is it for them to see you?"
Male Human AACBC6
Boom wakes up and starts gathering his few belongings. He straps on his new laser pistol and looks around. Might as well take everything now less to do later. Hearing the urgency in the call Boom quickly says goodbyes to his family "She that Flys wants us at the ship quickly. I think something may be up." He then moves quickly to the ship.

Boom: Boom looks quizzically at his Dad for a moment and says "That is a strange question. You know me I can set my mind to whatever I want to; which explains all the trouble I have gotten into over the years. For once it has paid off!" He wears a large grin on his face saying this. He continues "I know we stirred up a hornet's nest with that find. I will will do the clan wonders in the end I think. For me however Dad, I think, for now at least my destiny lies in the stars. I don't know how long this voyage will take but I do intend to come back. Of course this may give the clan enough wealth to be able to afford some ships and mine other rocks in this system."

Boom waits for his father to enter and take off his helmet. He gives him a firm handshake. He smiles and says "Come see what I found." He walks him to the storage and says "I brought all the buckets of silver I could and the rest of the containers are titanium. Oh and this." He pulls out a small nugget of uranium ore and tosses it to his dad. "There was a whole container of that ore. Once sec. She That Flys would you please tell me how much uranium ore was in that container and the amounts of silver and titanium on board here and also a full inventory of what was left in the base?" When she finishes he says "Thank you very much. We also found plenty of high tech mining equipment. I know you will figure out how to use it though you might need some of these mechanical types to tune them up. I found some smaller bars of metal where we went in but lost them to a cave in. There was lead, copper, zinc, gold, tungsten, silver and some odd blue metal. It kinda looked like the sword blade. Any idea what it might be?"
